Seems very similar to the Samsa’s I’ve had in the past,
which were always very tasty, so I’d likely enjoy the Kazakhstan version, as well.
There are different versions of this all across the world.
In most eastern cultures lamb is used in the recipe.
In western cultures, beef.
The different spices and oils used in the bread
also make a big difference in the taste of each version.
