Saturday, October 14th – 12PM PST/3PM EST…

I’ll be fielding questions on Jeff Howard’s (Oculus, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Gerald’s Game, The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass) youtube channel.  Come armed with your Dark Matter/Stargate/Screenwriting/Sci-Fi/Food/Pugs-related questions!

26 crime shows under my belt.  Loved 2.  Liked 6.  To be continued…

Two more development opportunities have come my way.  All interesting projects, but I won’t have the time to commit to all – especially if one of my originals finally goes.  It’s all a crap shoot of course, but one project is seeing some significant progress, interest from a potential lead, pilot director, and buyer.  Stay tuned!

Today’s Yes/No…

  1. 12:00PST is 6am Sunday my time. I might just watch the recording. 🙂

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie described as “It will make you stand up and cheer!” Maybe I’ve been subconsciously avoiding them as well.

“House Of The Dragon” – I didn’t make it through the first season.
“The Rings Of Power” – I didn’t make it through the first season.
“Foundation” – I struggled through the first season. I have no intention of watching the second season.

I think you’re on to something here!

I love disco but the only song I can think of right now is “Stayin’ Alive” and that’s been done to death. Dunno if you’d call it disco but I really like “Brick House” by The Commodores.

  2. The Chocolate Mousse Latte sounds delicious.

It always is feast or famine for your profession. I hope that your original project gets picked up.

Sorry to have missed your interview today. I am knee-deep and running out of time with getting stuff into Quicken to do my tax return that is due on Oct 16. I’m now in freaking mode. I was in my chair today for 14 hours working on it. Then, if I want to actually be on time in April this next year, I will have to juggle doing that and the holiday stuff which is huge for me.

  3. Of course, “Stayin’ Alive” pops into mind first, so that’s a hard pass. However, I would suggest anything by the undisputed “Queen of Disco”, Donna Summer. My favorites are”Heaven Knows”, “MacArthur Park”, “Last Dance”, and “Hot Stuff”. Gloria Gaynor had some great songs, as well.

    Yes, please, to the latte.
