Well damn. We walked by the new takeout place in our neighborhood, Kevin Shwarma (so-named because our neighbor, Kevin, tipped us of to its existence) only to discover it opens for lunch at 1:00 p.m. I mean, come on! What kind of foolery is this? Why even bother opening for lunch if you’re not going to be open for lunch? Who eats lunch at 1:00 p.m. besides drifters and Brits?

Everyone at my place at work (at UB in the US), so I eventually caved. And it reduces the wait between lunch and dinner by an hour, anyway.
