In the most unlikely event you missed it, here is a link to this afternoon’s Dial the Gate discussion of Stargate: Universe season 2, the last season of Stargate…for the time being. With guest star me, and extra special guest star Paul Mullie…
Came across THIS article the other day…
Pettable Pokémon, transforming Mario ghost latte art made by amazing Japanese artist【Videos】
Which brought me to the artist’s amazing twitter account…

Awesome, no?
Today’s Yes/No…
Cream in a Can? Yes/No
Weird Japanese vending machine find of the day: Cream in cans? https://t.co/d7VSLiUdwb via @RocketNews24En— Joseph Mallozzi (@BaronDestructo) April 30, 2022
Received a quick turnaround on notes for my script – which means it’s on track to go out to my agent later this week!
Wwwooowww to the post and links!
If you push on the Pokémon’s tummy hard enough, does it puke out the latte? That would take it from cool to awesome. I guess that would make the poor thing lactose intolerant, though.
Cream in a can – I’m assuming you’re supposed to drink it straight up, so – no? I feel the bile rise at the mere ponderance of it.
The latte artist is amazing! Looks like a fun job. I love the little “calling card”. Reminds me of Akemi and Suji’s artwork.
I plan on listening to your Podcast on Sunday. Can’t wait to hear what Paul Mullie has to say. Oh and you too Joe…
Great interview! Always love David Read’s enthusiasm. Paul looks fantastic. Still got them beautiful eyes! It was nice hearing from Paul and you about your recollections on writing and producing Stargate Universe. I was one of those who did not particularly like the first season but thought the second season was much better. Maybe because they started to become a family. I agree with David Read that the ending scene with the Destiny shutting down was Joel Goldsmith’s finest. Most beautiful song ever. I’ll try to attach it here (I’m not very good at this):
Just one more thing Joe. After listening to you guys talk about SGU, I’m not going to complain about any more shows again.
(Except Wheel of Fortune. It is more like the wheel of misfortune and heartache. The way it rips your soul out when you land on a Bankrupt is not fair!!!)
So much goes into making a TV show. Who am I to sit on my butt on the couch and pooh pooh it? Please write a show Joe that won’t make me pooh pooh! 🙂
