Yatta!  Delivered the second draft of the Powder Mage pilot today incorporating the great feedback I received from author Brian McClellan and my fellow producers.  One more pass and we’ll be set to go.  Very excited about this one.  It’s a hell of a lot of fun.  You’re going to love it.

As I await word on my other projects, I find myself with a rare window of opportunity.  Actual downtime!  While I really should start rolling into research for that 30’s era feature I’ve had rattling around in my head for over a year now, I’m thinking of taking some time off with a horror movie.

Please help me choose from among the following…

Decisions, decisions…

Today’s Yes/No…

  1. Hummm. The twin movie reminds me of a book I read long time ago by Thomas Tyron called The Other. It was about identical twin boys with very different personalities, one very dark. It was a good book with a shocking ending. You should read it.

The Raw movie reminds me of a movie I saw long time ago about a young girl going off to college and suddenly being afflicted with schizophrenia. It apparently usually comes on in your late teens or early twenties. She lived in a dorm at college and started buying meat and keeping it unwrapped in her refrigerator. Her refrigerator was loaded with stinking, rotting meat. And she stopped going to class etc. And acted crazy.

The Void reminds me of the movie The Crazies. But The Void looks too gross for me. Too much blood.

    Hey! Good luck choosing! 🙂

  2. Okay. Now you’re just messing with us.

Not into any modern gore horror flicks but if i were …
of course the winner would be “The Void”.

And if, for some inexplicable, crazy, reason, you don’t choose that one
let us just hope Ellen Wong’s Misaki Han doesn’t show up at your door
one late bourbon filled night with a sword in her hand
    asking why. 😁

  3. 100 layers of lasagna, that picture screams delicious. I’d recommend Army of Thieves, Shadow and Bone and Archenemy which should all be free on netflix, and I can’t wait to see Wheel of Time and Cowboy Bebop, and the new season of Witcher.
