Snowpiercer is a must. Diferent but brilliant.
How talk about it without spoiling the chained series of revelations in the film? Decisive participation of such exquisite as repellent Tilda Swinton and a crudest version of Chris Evans with an interesting monologue at the end.
‘Snowpiercer’ is a well-oiled machine in which almost everything works for the first two acts, to fail us, in its conclusion with a lackluster participation in this part of Ed Harris.
Do not miss it.
The concept of Snowpiercer sounds intriguing, but I’ve been so disappointed by interesting concepts that turn out duds that I’m skeptical.
Borgman looks pretty bizarre, and if I hadn’t read your summary before watching the trailer, I would still have no idea about what it is about.
I could not even get through the 2 minute trailer before moving on to the next. How am I suppose to watch the entire movie?
The problem with you Joe is, you are trying to make a good quality tv series. Maybe you should write something crazy bizarre weird scary unfollowable and the studios will pick it up.
Hey Joe
I have to agree with Skua. Snowpiercer is very good.
Elminster
What I’m really looking forward to is How To Train Your Dragon 2.
Meh.
das
I want to clarify my opinion, to be understood.
‘Snowpiercer’ Its a 10 film that stays to 8,in my opinion. By the poor execution of the final -1 (writing-director) compared to the rest of it (but not bad at all). And Ed Harris work -1 (that day was not inspired looked as a shadow of himself).
All aboard the train is going to leave.
Snow piercer looks interesting. If you didn’t showcase some of these movies, I would never hear about them!
These seem more like movies you’d randomly find on TV when flicking through the channels one night, and at that point you know they exist and either watch or not.
@Upper-class bad guys; lower class heroes. Ho hum.
In fairness this has been overdone in either scenario in both the TV and Movie world. While the concept is tired, it can still be good.
This idea seems different, its a live action Japanese movie, called Thermae Romae.
A plot summary(Sourced from animenewsnetwork)
Lucius Modestus is a bath-house designer in ancient Rome who is one day sucked into modern-day Japan. Going back and forth between two worlds, he works to improve Roman baths using Japanese ideas. In the process, he wins the heart of a struggling manga artist and earns the attention of Emperor Hadrian
The second movie opened up recently and did quite well.

anyone else disappointed that borgman has nothing to to with the star trek borg? it’s probably just me, then.
I notice in American TV and movies in almost all shows everyone has perfect brilliant white teeth. Even the people who have been living through the Apocalypse for years. Even on The Walking Dead.
It sometimes takes me out of the movie or show, especially in shows like The Walking Dead. Their all battling psychopaths, zombies, running through forests, nobody ever loses a tooth and everyone has time for perfect oral hygiene. I guess there’s a lot of toothpaste and teeth whitening kits lying around in the stores.
I’ve only heard good things about Snow Piercer so I’m excited for it. Ivory Tower is going to hit a little close to home, but I’ll watch it anyway.
Snowpiercer is calling to me, I’m liking the Carpenteresque vibe. Some of the others…are we sure those are real movies and not those Robert Rodriguez faux grindhouse trailers?
I loved the new X-Men movie. Other than Belle, Sin City and the Tom Cruise movie I’m looking forward to great TV; more Orphan Black, Orange is the New Black and Hemlock Grove.
I will say no to all these movies.
