Looking forward to the California gubernatorial debate!

Rooting for Skeletor but, in the end, anyone but James Corden.

Things I miss about L.A.: The weather, in-person writer’s room, the Grove neighborhood, Andante Coffee Shop, Sugarfish, Republique Bakery, Trader Joe’s, Waymo, the Melrose Place farmer’s market, California fruit, the oven at our L.A. place.

Things I don’t miss about L.A.: The obnoxiously loud vacuum cleaner that came with the rental.

Dennit.  Netflix passed on my android murder-mystery pilot and the option has expired on my cozy mystery series.  Meanwhile, am impatiently running out the clock on the option on my action-adventure series given one of the partners is…pretty fucking flakey.  Need to do a pass on my fixer series as that is likely the next one to go out.

Someone who “fixes” neighborhood issues ranging from lost pets to murder.

  2. Yes, that gubernatorial race has been interesting. I would love to see what happened behind the scenes on the latest dropout.

I’m sorry those projects didn’t work out like you wanted.

Lucy had another bout of pancreatitis. We think her cat treats triggered the symptoms this time. Thankfully, she’s snapped out of it (I have meds the vet sent home). I know I’ll have to face letting her go but I’d like to kick that can down the road some.

Any word on getting Sharky a sibling?

Sorry to hear about Lucy. Hoping she’s bounced back for you.

We did meet a prospective sister for Sharky while in L.A. but she was not a good match for our laidback boy.
