No. Sharky’s travel has been limited to Montreal – and his first trip from LA to Toronto. A flight to Japan is 14+ hours and, I think, too much for the little guy.

How are things going with your mom? I know her favorite dog passed away recently. Does she have any other pets right now?
My mom visit went well. She’s still living alone but my brothers are helping her every day.
I’ve been scanning mom’s photos and sharing them to family members. One photo was a rural school picture from the 1940’s. I posted the photo to a historic site for that area and was hoping others would recognize relatives.
That’s been fun seeing people identified. It turns out one of the little girls in the photo was my first cousin that died last month (my mom’s niece, Joann). Joann was such a nice person and was much healthier/younger than my mom. Her death came as a shock to everyone.
Still, it was a pleasant blessing Joann was recognized in the picture. https://x.com/jertam/status/1975183243763679251/photo/1 Mom is the back row, four over and with pig tails. Joann is the little girl in the front row with a white dress and cowboy boots.
My spinal epidural is over. I completely understand why your mom had problems handing the pain of the procedure. Wowza! 😬

Hope you’re feeling okay. I imagine that procedure must’ve been hell.
It’s always great to see those photos of old. I’m always amazed when I can recognize people, even when they were kids.
