Aaah look at your Mum and Sharky 😍 he’s got a new Mum leg pillow 😘
So cool to see Mom and Sharky together!
Momma looks good! I bet she loves when her little boy Sharky visits. Oh, and you and Akemi too. 🙂 In that last video, how do you know Sharky is Happy? Is that what he sounds like when he is goofing around?
Yes. That’s his goofing around cry.
You’re making the best of it in Montreal. I hope your mom is recovering well. You and your Sis have been wonderful in the taking care of her. I’m glad your Sis can get away on a few short trips, too. It helps when you can destress. I know it’s been hard on all of you.
I’m going to see my Mom Thursday. She’s recovering from cataract surgery and seems to have breezed through the procedure.
Since, she’s been taking it easy (dr’s orders), she might let me get a bit of house cleaning done. Normally, she gets upset when she sees me cleaning. Staying at my mom’s house any length of time sets my OCD into overdrive. 😬
Have you tried new places you’ve tried in Montreal?
I’m not a coffee drinker but I am looking for a gift for someone that loves his new fancy coffee machine (with grinder). Is there a brand/type of coffee bean you would recommend? I’m not sure I can find it here but I thought I would try. Thanks in advance!
I hope your trip goes smoothly and please say Hi to your Mom from us! 👋🏻
Alas, no time to hit any restaurants while in Montreal.
Wishing your mom a speedy recovery!
Sharkey is one lucky doggie!! So nice to see your Mum looking well!
Dorothy
Hi Dorothy! Hope you and Ted are well and enjoying the Vancouver summer!
I know it’s been a long time since I’ve said hello, but was thinking about Mumma Mallozzi and Baby the other day after seeing a Baby doppelgänger, so it was so nice to open your blog and see you’re visiting. Hope all is well in your world. I see the family has new additions. Now I need to go and catch up!
Narelle! So lovely to hear from you. How are you?
Hanging in there Joe. I’ve been caring for my Dad for the last 12 months while juggling full time work and some space agency catch ups which I never tire of. Managed to get a couple of trips up to my place on the ocean in Darwin during the last year so my Dad can hopefully move with me up there for a while. His physical and mental health improve so much when he’s there. So does mine! I can’t give him more time, but I can give him quality. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise, lapping water and 28C does wonders for anyone. If I could insert an image here, it would sum it up immediately.
I feel like the question to you of, how’s things with you, could probably be answered with a sweeping gesture towards this blog, but would love to hear how you’ve been travelling. Thanks again for your book club back in the day. It got me back into all things space and I wouldn’t have had the opportunities I have over the last few years if it wasn’t for the book club reminding me how much I love it.
You’re a good daughter, Narelle. I’m dealing with something similar re: my mother.
Otherwise, doing a lot of reading (mostly crime books at present) and developing/pitching shows. And of course spending quality time with Akemi and Sharky.
Look forward to seeing your work on the screen again 🙂
All the best for your Mum, Akemi and the extended furry family.
