  1. Who’s that young feller talking in that video? Seems to know his stuff, though.

That baking time-lapse is kind of beautiful in a way. Chemistry in action.

Quite the big no on the burger-flavoured latte. Would I like burger flavoured milk? No. Would I like burger flavoured espresso? No. I’m extrapolating from there.

Feeling a fair bit better today and actually got some stuff done around the house. My parrot Zoie continues to be.. okay. Stable at best I suppose, but her weight continues to slowly slip, which is one of the symptoms of the progression of this disease. (It affects the nerves controlling the GI tract.) The vet college has considered starting her on cyclosporine which in some trials has had sometimes positive results. My worry is putting her through more possible side effects when there is only a chance it will be helpful, and even then for how long? She is still eating and drinking okay and still likes to snuggle, and doesn’t seem in any noticeable pain, so there’s that. Anyway, lots to think about.

  2. Strange laws: On the TN fishing law, that might be to discourage throwing dynamite in to kill the fish. I believe they called it “blasting” and yes, it’s been done.

The Alabama law about no salting the railroad tracks sounds like a good law. Deer and Cattle are attracted to salt licks. Trains and large animals don’t mix well.

I agree with the butter law and think it should be expanded throughout the world! I’m not a big clam chowder fan, so no comment from me on that one.

I’ve heard of cities that makes adulty illegal. It’s been sited in several lawsuits but I believe it’s mainly used in civil cases.

Love the videos and Thanks for posting!

  3. That baking time lapse is mouthwatering! The Burger Latte is not! I’d love to try each of those chicken sandwiches!
