  1. I’ll miss that little stinker and her flowers, wardrobe, baths, and especially Suji Sundays. Thinking of you and Akemi today and probably for many Sundays to come.

  2. As cliché as it is, she will forever be on my mind and in my heart.

    The sweetest.

  3. RIP little buddy. You properly spoiled that little dog as you should. My condolences on your loss.

  4. Dear Sweet, Precious Suji,
You touched the world with your beauty, grace, and bad assedness. When people would be crying, moaning, groaning about life, or physical therapy, I would show your pictures of therapy, and tell them this little baby is an elder with a no nonsense attitude living life, and doing her physical therapy, now buck up. I will miss you so much! You opened up a place in me I had buried deep down. I hope it will be a long time from now, but when I’m called home I pray you have a minute along with my long gone babies to meet me at the Rainbow Bridge! 🌈 I love you sweet girl, and thank you for the something wonderful I cannot explain. ❤🙏❤
    To your Mom, and Dad,
I’m so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies are with you always. Thank you for sharing this beautiful lady with the world. ❤🙏❤

  5. Thank you for sharing this loving tribute to your beautiful girl. Sundays will not be the same. I am typing through tears, so I can only try to imagine the depth of your pain. Much love to you and Akemi as you continue to grieve and adjust.

  6. Suji-i-i-i! 😢💔💖🪽🐶

Dear Joe & Akemi, I am so sorry for your very personal loss of Suji girl. For all her beloved presence online & even with us, she was yours and yours alone. Your baby, your dog-child.

Thank you both for rescuing her, and sharing her dazzling new life – complete with bling! – with all of us. She was a bright, sassy light when the world needed one! 🙂

Give your hearts time to recover. It can take a few weeks for the veil of tears to lift. 🌄 Am so glad to hear that you’re going to Japan, and adopting another senior dog in the future. Jelly, Max, Bubba, Lulu, and especially Suji 👑, would approve.

    Hugs from

  7. You gave her so much love & happiness!
Thank you so much for sharing her with us!
We will miss you, Suji ❤️❤️❤️

  8. Okay, let me try this one more time. It keeps saying a weird thing I’ve never seen before as a when I’ve commented the last few days.

I cried when I saw this with all the video. She, through you, brought so much happiness to people, including me. The sadness that we won’t be seeing more Suji Sundays becomes real. But for me I think, and probably for others, too, we know what that feels like not to have any more days with our pets–our family members–and I know you are both hurting a lot.
