Lol.  Good one.  They really had me going until I looked at the price chart and saw that they expected struggling small business owners to cough up about 3k for a sticker.

Today’s Yes/No…

Okay, I’m going to be honest.  I have no idea what Tajin is.

Today’s lunch!  According to Akemi, she actually eats more sushi since meeting me than she ever did while living in Tokyo.

Tomorrow is Pitch Day for our reimagining of that classic sci-f series (with the killer opening theme).  1 p.m. EST!  We’re prepped and I have no doubt we’re going to kill it.  But, sometimes, even the most fantastic of takes are for naught as multitudinous factors ultimately influence that final decision.  The one thing we do have working in our favor is the fact that the executive we’ll be speaking with is a savvy sci-fi fan – a rarity in this industry!

Finally, I leave you with one of my favorite scenes from a Dark Matter episode chock full o’ great scenes…

  1. I don’t get the value of that sticker either. I mean who would even know what it’s supposed to mean? Unless it really is an April Fool’s joke and the pricing is part of it. I always say that it’s not funny unless you’re 100% committed to the bit.

Speaking of funny, that DM scene is genius. I think I’ll have to rewatch that ep tonight. Also, I now want pie.

Good luck on the classic sci-fi series pitch! Can’t wait to hear more!

I don’t know what that mango thing is either, but it does at least look really tasty.

  2. I’ll assume, Joe, that you’ve visited the Tajín website. If you’d like to sample this Mexican seasoning, I can pick up a pack or bottle and ship it.

  3. Wishing you and your re-imagining pitch partner
the sheer awesome power of resoundingly exhaustive yesgasms tomorrow.

    By the way:

  4. Good luck with your pitch! I have no doubt that you’ll crush it.

  5. Some random collection of celebrities or entrepreneurs won’t be the benefactors of whatever prove-compliance-for-access platform is coming our way. The really, really powerful people will be.

  6. I should say “benefactors” with the quotation marks. It’ll start out with the appearance of philanthropy.

  7. I’m just going to stop at the mango part and say NO. (even though that looks tasty)
    YES to your lunch!
