May 26, 2020: My accomplishments pale to Akemi’s!

·

Well, time to take my supplements!

So, that’s what I accomplished this week.  Akemi, on the other hand, in addition to the gardening and the baking, has been making gyoza…

I, of course, have been doing my part and supporting her by eating them.

Today’s movie-themed question…

Received some sad news today.  Beloved french bulldog Stewie passed away yesterday at age 11.  He was a 30 lb bundle of energy and I will always fondly remember how he would greet me whenever I would visit – by charging down the hall and launching himself, full force, into my stomach.

I leave you with my favorite video of the handsome boy.

Akemi is a wonder, no question! I can kind of see in the background on the balcony that the garden looks like it’s really coming along!

Aw, poor Stewie. My condolences to all his family and friends.

19 supplement pills daily? Guess I should be glad I’m down to 14 (Rx & OTC) per day. 😀

Woohoo, Akemi! I am ashamed of how little I can do around the home by comparison.

Awww… Stewie. 11 years isn’t long enough. We forget that average life expectancy for the breed is only 12 years because we want them to go on forever. Condolences to all.

Sorry to hear about Stewie. It’s always hard to lose a pet, especially one that has such personality.

Oh shoot!. just realized my darn. stupid. #!#$@!! phone must be on the fritz again.
    Akemi made homemade fried dumplings
but your text or voice mail inviting me never showed up on my screen! 🙁
I bet they were much tastier than the half dozen I scarfed down my throat
from a take out joint i found a couple miles up the road last week.
    Hmmmmm.
Ya think you could convince her to try her hand at making tiramisu next
and ship me some? I’ll gladly pay the extra postage.

So sorry to hear of the loss of this little guy.
    Warmest hugs and condolences
to all whose hearts he paw imprinted.
Maybe. just a tad. e’er so slightly. overly energetic.
Albeit, judging by this vid clip,
    adorably so, none the less.

    I remember Stewie.

I remember Stewie! Gone at such a young age. So sad. He was Fondy’s dog, right? Very sorry to hear it.

@PonyTail Thank you. I kept wondering why this little energetic cutie looked so familiar to me. It was driving me a bit nuts that I couldn’t place where I remembered him from.

Warmest hugs and condolences to all on whose hearts his paw imprinted.

Frenchies are so cute. My condolences for the loss of Stewie. He looks like a boy that had a lot of personality.

Y’all are thriving on being at home. I wish I could try all of Akemi’s creations.

My first day of being back at the pool was wonderful! They are by reservation only but it’s a start.
