I’m pleasantly surprised by the enthusiastic response to yesterday’s blog entry. Stargate fans are still out there, still eager for more Stargate, and – apparently – up for another tweet storm to remind MGM of the fact. Given recent developments, I think it’s a great idea and will confer with the High Council this weekend. Meanwhile, let’s get the word out and start rallying the troops!
And while we’re on the topic of site changes (which would have been a much better segue yesterday, but I forgot…), what do you think of the changes made to this blog? What do you think of the new pages and new navigation elements? How would you like to see this blog improved?
Okay, I’m pushing my L.A. trip to January when I will (hopefully) have four pitches ready. If one falls through for whatever reason, I’ll have the others to fall back on. Even if two fall through, two pitches is more than an enough to keep me busy. And if all four pitches fall through, I’m going to Shake Shack!
Continuing my efforts to sample every dessert Toronto has to offer…
The pistachio bombolone at Oretta Caffe.
The lemon-pistachio donut from The Box (pop-up).
The caramelized vanilla-cream donut from Bar Ravel.
Egg matcha and egg hot chocolate at Coffee Dak Lak.
Matcha soft serve and drink at Tsujiri.
Brown sugar Korean pancake from Hodo Kwaja.
Chocolate (eating and drinking!) at Soma Chocolates.

I actually haven’t really noticed any of the blog changes, LOL! But sometimes I access it through the WordPress app, and often on the phone so it gets the mobile version. I wouldn’t necessarily see all the changes.
I’m definitely up for the tweet storm.- just name the date and time!
I sure hope all those desserts weren’t in the same day. You may need to return for another physical! 🙂
I’ll always love me some Soma chocolates and mocha!
Wishing you and the rest of us much luck in getting back Stargate. I’ve always loved the concept and the programs but sometimes it doesn’t seem like the suits are interested in pleasing the fans. I don’t know how Stargate SG1 got away with 10 years worth of shows and Atlantis 5 yrs…and for the most part they were quality shows with quality actors. Seriously, we got spoiled. The bar has been set very high if they go ahead with another round of one or the other show. Or both but I don’t see that happening.
I’m ready and willing for another twitter storm.
I recently wrote a series for GateWorld and one of the articles looked at the fans’ hopes for a potential Stargate return. It was largely positive (and I spoke to a lot of fans), so there will be no shortage of us willing to help out with another tweet storm!
With regards to the site changes, are those new pages for Stargate and Dark Matter (e.g. the ‘tweets’ page and the ‘articles talking about….’ page?) I’m looking at the blog on my phone so it’s the mobile version rather than the full site and I’m never sure if all the changes come through for that platform. Will check it out on a computer tomorrow though.
Also, all of those desserts look delicious; especially that lemon-pistachio donut and the matcha soft serve.

Yes, those are the changes we made. It’s to make the enormous amount of articles a little bit easier to find. If you have any suggestions, please let us know!
As for the mobile theme, we disabled it since the main theme is able to adapt to small screens. This way, the experience will be more homogeneous between platforms.
For some reason the top 3 dishes reminded me of Heidi Klum’s Halloween costume from yesterday. You might want to keep whomever put that together in mind for FX on your next series. It was incredible!! (If you haven’t seen it make sure to look it up on-line).
… … I actually didn’t notice big changes to the blog … or, maybe it’s time for me to get my reading glasses. LOL.
One thing I would like to see improve though is the search function … I find not easy to search for your old posts … and the search results are usually in random (date) order.
Stargate tweetstorm? Announce the date and time, I’ll have all my tweeter friends ready to rock!
“the search results are usually in random (date) order”
By default, the blog shows the results ordered by relevance. However, we have made some small tweaks to also order by date so the most recent is first.
Please note that you can also use the Archives (bottom of the page, there’s a dropdown menu). This wau, you can quickly go to different dates.
If I were in LA I would go to tommy’s original and have me a chilli cheese burger with some chilli cheese fries.
The only thing I don’t like about the design is I can’t read it in my RSS reader. I have to click over to the blog. It’s not a dealbreaker obviously, just an annoyance although I suppose I comment slightly more now (I’ve been reading since you started the don’t miss a day blogging – need to remember my WordPress log in so I can properly comment…)
I would love to see a push for more Stargate. I still have not watched the final episode of SGU. It started as me just being sad to now I weirdly like that I always have a new episode.
Also, one day I have to visit Toronto and eat until I explode. I have a friend there who would love for my husband and I to visit but trying to get from Spain to Toronto takes a bit of planning. 😛

Can you please tell me what RSS reader you are using? Also, please try it now and see if it works.
While sharpening his pitchfork Did somebody mention MGM ?
Mmmmm, now I am hungry, and I haven’t had breakfast yet. I need my strength for the impending twitter storm…
