October 16, 2019: Birthday!

Thanks to all for the birthday well-wishes.  It’s been quite a day!  In no particular order…

October-16-2019-birthday

Fielded a slew of online birthday messages.

Worked out.

Updated my fantasy football roster.

Got birthday swag from Akemi.

Had the Red Dragon ramen at Ramen Isshin.

Got married.

Had dessert at Le TAO.

Had the matcha and chocolate egg creams at Coffee Dak Lak.

Walked the dogs.

Fielded more birthday messages.

Had dinner at Kintori Yakitori.

Did the brown sugar Korean pancake and red bean walnut cakes from Hodo Kwaja, and a custard taiyaki from PAT.

Walked home.

Updated this blog.

Whew.  I’m exhausted.

    Whoa! You wore me out. Happy birthday and congratulations!

    Bruce asked me to marry him three times. I kept putting it off. We were already living together, both in the Navy, his two ex-wives and five kids lived near by, and we were in our 30’s. What’s the hurry? When I (supposedly) said, “Yes,” he hustled me and the kids into the truck, got our blood tests, and walked into the court house ten minutes before it closed.

    Thirty-two years later I’m still trying to figure out what happened.

    I wish both of you a long, joyous and healthy life; that your marriage be strong and faithful; may there always be a rainbow after each storm.

    I hope you realize that getting married on your birthday means you get less presents each year. Per etiquette, you should plan your birthday, anniversary, and Christmas/Hanukkah exactly 4 months apart. This maximizes gift potential. The More You Know…
