As for yesterday’s post about movies, I’d have to say Blazing Saddles and Monty Python movies don’t grab me anymore.
The Sting is still a masterpiece, so you’d be safe there. I re watched it a few months ago and was blown away. Reminds me of “Now You See It”, with the twisty plots. The Sting is better though.
We had a busy Saturday of karate tournaments. I worked one of the tables charting bouts. Thankfully, I didn’t make any huge mistakes. I don’t have a huge ego, so if I have questions, I stop the bout and go ask the boss. That stops everyone from arguing. 🙂
Yesterday, i hand an old friend come over and vent. We each have a mutual friend whose hubby is dying of cancer. It’s a heartbreaking process…. I feel guilty but I’m avoiding the wife. She could use the help because she’s legally blind and has five dogs. However, she is bat crap crazy and I just can’t do that to myself again. I’ve had my fill of emotional vampires. (I’ve learned my lesson dealing with my bipolar SIL!)
Losing a spouse is always difficult but they are in so much debt, and are mega hoarders. I’m thinking it would be best if the hubby didn’t go back into that house (he’s in the ICU now). It’s a bad situation. Makes me appreciate my life!
Yep, I dig the Autumn look.
It has a certain touch of ‘stuff you’ to it. I shall bare that in mind as I work through this week and post any interesting results as they happen…
