Check it out –
Some never-before-seen clips here…
As someone (possibly Ryo Ishida) marches down a corridor, TWO informs us (translated from Spanish), that Ferrous Corp wasn’t responsible…it was Ryo Ishida!
We see the EOs-7 space station blow up, sending debris flying by camera – including a familiar-looking shuttle.
Yes. There’s no doubt. That’s The Marauder floating amidst the station’s debris field.
Emperor Ryo Ishida wields a blade in ominous fashion. Who’s on the receiving end of his apparent wrath?
FIVE is wearing the neural devices she used to access the memories squirreled away in her subconscious back in Episode 6. Perhaps another trip down memory lane?
A mystery man welcomes Ryo back home. Could this be Teku Fonsei (played by Adam Moodie), Ryo’s former tutor?
Teku (?) informs Ryo that he has underestimated his former friends – and Ryo doesn’t seem too happy about it.
And explosion inside a planetary facility.
Ryo Ishida addresses a motley crew. He orders them to take back what’s his, and take out the crew of the The Raza.
And the trailer ends on The Raza executing a nifty maneuver before jumping to FTL.
More thoughts? Theories?
I’m going to skip the guessing, and try to be patient. LOL ya right, who am I kidding??
My baby graduates high school in a couple weeks, and am in the middle of planning his graduation party. Spending a lot of energy being impatient while waiting for people to RSVP so I can finish planning the food, so I can order food, and shop for the food I am making myself, and figuring out how many chairs and tables I need, and how many I will need to borrow, or rent…and…why can’t people just say yes or no that they are or are not coming?? If they are waiting for a better offer to come along, they don’t really want to come in the first place. So just say no already. Grrrr…
Cool trailers.
Thank you Joe for keeping us entertained with you awesome blog posts!
I wonder, what’s up with he poor guy in the chair, in the last picture.
I don’t speak Spanish, but I know enough words to piece together everything hilariously wrong.
I may or may not watch Syfy in Spanish when hanging out in Mexico. Because who would do that on vacation?
KathyC: Congrats!
Hubby is going to cut off our dish network soon. Can anyone suggest ways to watch Dark Matter without cable/satellite? Does anyone know if Chromecast will let you buy current episodes? (son is letting me use his chrome while he’s home this summer)
@KathyC
I have to double check but I think itunes had episodes offered.
@KathyC: What an exciting time! I remember my own graduation like it was yesterday… oh, who am I kidding. Back then, dinosaurs roamed the Earth.
Anyway, I wouldn’t even hazard a guess about what all that trailer means. I do know this, though: It’s looking like this season is going to KICK-A! Not that it normally doesn’t, but every season things seemed to be punched up a notch.
Only a few days now!!
Let’s discuss the fellow in blue hue in a life sustaining “chair” that is behind the rag tag assembly of mercs. I seem to remember that “chair” from early concept pics. Who could be in that chair? Davros anyone?
@Tam: I’m silly I know but I bought a season pass for DM S2 last yr on iTunes. So even if I was away I could just simply download it usually within 24 hours and watch it. I have both seasons on my iPad. Well worth the money!
@KathyC: Congrats!
Don’t mess with La Raza, Ryu. Piu, piu, rat-tat-tat! Can’t wait!
@KathyC I agree about people RSVP-ing. People know I’m always a maybe until I better know my schedule, which unfortunately as a pet sitter can be last minute. If they need a definite yes or no though, I will decline for the sake of the sanity of the host/hostess. Congratulations on your soon-to-be graduate. My niece is graduating in New Jersey on June 22nd I think. Wish I could be there.
@TamDixon I agree with MaggieL80 — that is a great alternative. They aren’t being broadcast on Syfy’s website shortly afterwards?
I have no intelligent guesses but it looks rather fabulous. 🙂
