So over on my dedicated Dark Matter twitter account (@DarkMatter_show), I’ve been uploading a slew of BTS photos.  Someone asked why I wasn’t featuring the Android and I informed them that there was a good reason for that – but couldn’t elaborate.  To tide you over, here are a couple of pics of the perfect Android hand, moulded and sculpted from actress Zoie Palmer’s very own.

    My second consecutive win, WOOT! The winning title was a little wordy but very descriptive.

    JeffW: It’s too bad Barb can’t make the trip to Italy. I hope she gets a chance later.
    We are enjoying “empty nest syndrome” so much that my hubby renamed it “empty nest privilege”. 😉

    Evan will be home next week though. I sent him a picture of the lawn mower with the caption “thinking of you”. 😉

    OMGosh!!! I lose for only the second time. I picked Something to Remember Us By, but struggled with Wish I’d Spaced You… , which is great too. So no big deal.

    Yesterday on your new Dark Matter twitter account, you had a picture of Three standing with a couple of guns and One standing beside him with some…. oatmeal or something…? But anyway, Three is cute, but One was so darn good looking I couldn’t stop staring at him! He had a little pouty look on his face and he was sooooooooo cute! Could you post that picture here so I can drool a little more? Pleeeease?

    That hand is totally cool, Joe. And look at that… I just read Zoe’s Palm. Very strongly forked head line! We voted not to space you… And we should have when we had the chance. Got both titles! Nice. Super excited for season 2.

    Can I share a pet peeve of mine – those fans who complain about screen time for their favourite actor? I understand their desire to see more but do they not understand that the actor plays a role and that role serves the story? Some actors take supporting character roles because it may give them a challenge, perhaps there is something about it they haven’t played. It should never be about screen time.

    I also think that if someone only watches a show for one character only, they are setting themselves up for disappointment.

    Anyway, that’s my thought…. Just something that was on my mind.

    I like the Pre Rasa picture of Five. It has a totally different “energy” if that is the right word. It comes off so neutral, unimpassioned.
    Didn’t win in this round either, I like the 3rd choice but thought the “I’d” was too narrow/focused, something Three would say. But, will have to wait and see what it all means when I get to watch.
    I was watching Continuum ep. directed by Will the other night. I was so captured by the show that I miss out looking for the Pineapple. Is that not a mark of a good director, or what?
    So, has Zoe gone out to shake someone’s had and pulled back leaving the hand behind?
    I think Michael Caine played in a B horror movie called “the Hand.”

    I hope we’re not going to lose the android, as in the Galactic Authority confiscated her (S1 finale), and the Raza crew weren’t able to steal her back after they break out of prison. It’s okay if they change her look and call it an upgrade, but I don’t want to lose Zoie Palmer, or the android’s personality. 🙁

    Even though I’ve been to Milan a couple of dozen times, this’ll be my first visit to Casteletto. As it happens, It is also the only place where I’ll have two nights in a row, so I may get to try a local restaurant…we’ll see what my Italian colleagues want to do.

    I’ve tried posting several times but was told it couldn’t go through. Gonna try one more time. Not disappointed with the title win though it wasn’t my choice. Went with Something To Remember Us By, picturing Three saying that as he throws a grenade through a closing door or some such.

    Isn’t Will going to be involved in an upcoming SyFy project soon?

    It’s always nice to keep an extra hand or two around. Like Five’s GA mugshot. Now she won’t feel so left out.

    @das; The Crawling Hand was one of our faves as kids, it scared the dickens out of us. It was the Friday late night monster movie staple shown by AFRTS, as well as Amelia, The Blob, Day of the Triffids and The Flesh Eaters.
