THIS is an outrage! Look at this picture. That’s powdered sugar on my shirt. And how, pray tell, did it get on my shirt? It got there because the sfogliatelle (Italian pastry) I was having for breakfast exploded when I bit into it, raining its dusted coating onto my lap and shirt front. And who’s fault was that?! Correct! Alison and Trevor’s! Had they had the foresight to blow the excess powdered sugar off my Italian pastry for me, this never would have happened.
I mean, seriously! Do you think Shonda Rhimes puts up with this crap?
At part of my continuing efforts to offer you unique behind-the-scenes insights denied fans of other shows, I proudly present Wednesday’s Dark Matter lunch menu which included bean salad, stuffed supremes, and pies & cookies.
Back on the home front, Bubba is settling in nicely. Just like Vancouver. Different laundry basket, but same idea.
Lulu does her imitation of an anaconda swallowing a skunk.
Me and Jelly, hanging out.

Stuffed Supremes? Huh. I didn’t know they had even passed away.
Anyway, great doggie pics, and glad to hear that Bubba has settled in. Wasn’t Lulu choking on that? Jelly look regal as usual.
lookS regal, I mean.
Oh, I meant to say sorry about your shirt. Damn frightful mess, that is.
Also, fresh fruit platter for dessert? Do these people *know* you?? 🙂
What is a stuffed supreme?
I’d be a bit annoyed about the exploded powdered sugar as well. Especially with your penchant for wearing dark clothes. You are a beacon to the world. Did you at least get a decent grovel out of Alison and Trevor?
In that last photo of you and Jelly, are you sitting on the floor?
What are your big plans for Rememberance Day?
count me in the number who don’t know what stuffed supremes are. i googled it & found stuffed supreme of chicken. is that it?
and what are the little, colored dots by each thing for? is that to denote what is vegetarian or gluten free or something?
I am surprised after the unforgivable disaster with the pastry, I thought you would have ended the crews’ meal to just bread and butter.
I’m jealous! I would gladly endure a little powdered sugar shower for a good sfogliatella!
I opened your blog and your picture scared me to death! I thought, “what did I do?!” I wouldn’t want to ever be in trouble with you! As much as you eat Joe, if I ever saw you with food on your shirt, I wouldn’t think anything of it.
Alison and Trevor – Lick it off next time, let it dry, then give it to Joe. Lick all of Joe’s food before he gets it. Just to be safe. 😉
Joe are you and Jelly in your rug room? I put runners down for my elderly dog too. Anything to keep her from slipping around.
Lulu is goofy! Cute, but goofy.
I didn’t notice the powered sugar – I was too busy wondering when those buttons were gonna start popping off that shirt as you morphed into the Hulk. 😉
Also – LOL! @ Lulu! That’s hilarious! 😀
PS – Your living room is starting to look like a magic carpet shop in a Marrakesh marketplace. 😉
I don’t know…if one is wearing a shirt on which the buttons look like they are about to pop off…one should not be complaining about a little Italian pastry’s powdered sugar on ones shirt….LOL.
Unless, of course, the said shirt was shrunk accidentally in the wash. (and I would stick with that story if it were me)
Seriously, someone as important as you should have a food taster. One never knows when ones life is in danger.
I sir, volunteer for the job….after all, someone has to take the hit. (and I do love pastries) ;-D
Do you think Shonda Rhimes puts up with this crap?
now that i think about it, she probably has the powdered sugar brushed off of her pastries with a sable-haired brush until the preferred amount is left.
I don’t know; that powdered sugar look is good on you. :p My sympathies to you, Alison and Trevor. 😉
Glad the dogs are settling in. Jelly is so cute. 😀
I suppose it’s too late to REname the Show to “WHITE MATTER”..? After all, you now have “The SHIRT”.
BTW, have you “cast” the Show’s CATERING Service yet? Or, is the “STUDIO” in charge of that stuff..?
I don’t even know what a sfogliatelle but now I want one!
Great pictures! I’m glad the pups are settling in.
What did you do with those shirts the ladies picked out for you? surely a spare in wardrobe>? have you eaten enough powdery foods to expect the unexpected, but it is a funny pix, thanks for sharing. sending you a virtual bib. Love the menu, better than some restaurants that I have been too. Love the doggy pictures, glad they are adjusting to the new surroundings. Have a powder free day!!
Hmm, “blow my Italian pastry”… now that needs to be taken out of context, often. Heehee.
LOL lofe ur humor
