Yep, I got down to the “Square Eggs” video (I wasn’t playing them but I was believing every one) before I remembered it was April Fool’s Day. I’m chalking my slow up-take to jet lag 😀

I posted a pic of a gorilla-bird on a site saying it was squawking loudly and had woken me up. It has the head of a gorilla and body of a crow. Someone actually believed it was real. o.O So that happened yesterday.

The whole family is going and we’re already signed up. But I’m still trying to decide if I’m going to do something for the centerpiece contest or not…I have a pretty busy year ahead with the Corvette restoration, increased business travel, a conference paper due in September, weeks of travel to Savannah, Tampa, and stops in between. Whew! I’m getting over-whelmed just typing it!
Still, I’m looking forward to that weekend as a nice break before the busyness of the last half of the year sets in.

I don’t like that naming. I’m certain it won’t be the last ever Stargate convention, especially if the series comes back at some point in the future. Perhaps I’m being a bit literal but still.
