Chew out this magnificent 12-person crew. We have a ship, a Captain, a First Officer, a Science Officer, a Chief Medical Officer, a Chief Engineer, an Ace Pilot, a Negotiator, a ship AI, a Chief of Security, an Away Team Leader, a Pilot/Helmsman, and an Enforcer.
Next, the search for our ship’s Techie begins! Suggestions?
Well, that’s a wrap on L.A. This was our last full day in Los Angeles. We packed. Met a friend for coffee. Cleaned up the place. Gifted away Sharky’s west coast stroller. And, of course, I wrote. Tomorrow, we’ll be waking up early – likely 6:30 a.m. – and taking the final walk and back to our favorite coffee shop, Andante on Beverly Blvd, for my last cream top in the city. The uber will pick us up at 9 am and we should be at L.A.X. plenty ahead of our 1:40 p.m. flight. A three hour cushion should do it but who knows? Here’s hoping our flight out is as smooth as our flight in for Sharky who was on his best behavior throughout.
Another somewhat sleepless night. Still not sure why I’m waking up at 1:30 a.m. but curiously, last night, I dreamt that I walked into an apartment and was attacked by a German Shepard who clamped on to the back of my head and wouldn’t let go. The pain was enormous and all attempts to dislodge the dog proved fruitless. Now I don’t remember much in my sleep-addled state but I can’t help but wonder if what I was experiencing was actually a headache. And I’m wondering whether previous incidents were headache-related but I just don’t recall. Pretty tired today though. And I never sleep well the night before I fly.
I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a looooooooong day.

Well, try to have a good sleep anyway. Safe travels!
Oh, shoot. I was composing a long list of techies, but alas, it apparently went to Internet Heaven.
Just remember to include “Five”, Joe.
As for those overnight headaches, Joe, feel free to contact me privately for suggestions.
I hope that your sleep pattern settles down when you’re home xxx
La Forge, Barclay, O’Brien, Torres, Stamets, Reno and Eli Wallace (did he find a solution to get everyone home… we shall never know…)
McKay is the best techie, no one else can data enter that fast and he thrives under pressure.
Safe travels!
