Lunch yesterday – pasta and pizza at Terroni, the L.A. flagship of the Toronto restaurant. A taste of home!
We have made arrangements to meet up next weekend with the family fostering Puggy-Pie, this adorable special needs pug that has been at Pug Nation of L.A. for almost a year.
We’re going to have lunch, then head over to the park for a playdate to see how Sharky gets along with her.

Where is North Stradbroke Island?
It’s in Australia. Just off the coast from Brisbane, Queensland.
@TTandC BorderlineReality, I have no plans currently to visit but I’ll keep it in mind next time I make the trek north from Tasmania.

It’d certainly be nice to have the new family addition selected early.
Just be sure to bring along a carrier to see if she can comfortably sit in it while riding on a plane. Also, (and this is equally important) two of Sharky’s favorite toys.
To check her territorial and bossy instincts.
If she is truly mellow she will easily yield to Sharky.
If she gets bossy and tries to claim Sharky’s toys as her own …

We’re digging out from the storm but haven’t lost power yet.
Please send positive thoughts to my Mom. Her house is w/o power and she was so upset my brother had to slip her an Ativan. My brother moved Mom to a cousin’s house (that has power), so she’s warm/comfy and a bit stoned.
@Tam – Your poor mom! Lol!! That would be very miserable. Tomorrow, Wednesday, is day 5 of the Snow/Ice Shut down here. We need some sun to melt this stuff.
