  1. I like “The Roses of Heliogabalus” because it’s pink and has flowers. But for you it might not work so well because you are a boy. 🙂

For you “The Monster”. I think you would look good in it. Get it for October and Halloween. “Death of Samson”, “Tomb of John Catherineau”, “Medusa”, and “Stormy Sea with Lighthouse” looks like something you would wear. I just don’t like the girlie ones. If you are going to go out in public in a t-shirt, the girls on it should be fully dressed. Yes, I’m a prude.

    I don’t think I helped you one bit. 🙁

  2. I think Medusa and Accolade would both be fun to wear depending on your mood of the day. They’d both be great on a production set too!

How’s your mom doing? Is she still at Catherine Booth?

  3. BTW:

and lo-n-behold. Trader Joe’s saves the day, again!

I finally found an affordable go-to for sating dark chocolate cravings.
A neighbor lovingly offered me a lift over to the nearest TJ store when I asked her for recommendations. I also found a dark chocolate with raspberry treat I much enjoyed. And the fella working in the store mentioned they sometimes get dark chocolate with pistachio, as well as, dark chocolate with hazelnut, bars.
What really surprised me is that I paid the same price at TJ’s for the Columbian chocolate as the main larger chain supermarkets and convenience stores are currently charging for regular every day Hersheys, Doves, MnMs, Nestles and Reeses!

Although I have previously shopped at various Trader Joe locations before for things like artichokes and giant bella mushrooms and knew their prices were reasonable, I never thought to look for dark chocolate there because I always assumed I’d have to pay a premium price for imported chocolate.
Also, I’ve been mostly shopping at asian grocery marts these last couple years because it’s difficult to find oranges and juice that doesn’t taste like lemons or yellow grapefruits in the large chain supermarkets and no one else seems to carry any mushroom varieties beyond shiitake and bella. What’s worse is that even the so-called discount supermarkets such as Walmart are getting away with charging one dollar for an individual medium size naval orange and four-five dollars per quart for the muck Tropicana and Simply Orange companies are currently calling Orange Juice!

      1. I got a bag of dark chocolate covered pistachios at Sam’s Club. Pretty tasty, I think. My taste buds are a little dull and off lately.

  4. The Lady of Shallot as I love Pre-Raphaelite art and he was influenced by them. And of course being a Ginger… what can I say! Big hugs for when you see your Mum xxx

  5. The Stormy Sea for sure, Apotheosis of the Slavs is gorgeous but the two rings hit in a rather unfortunate spot.
I’m making poached tilapia ceviche tonight to have with low carb tortillas to make soft tacos, with avocado cilantro dressing, a tiny bit of salsa and avocado slices plus some greens, gotta eat healthier according to my doc, so gonna have fun coming up with new recipes.
