  1. I’ve been listening to a few of these recordings after watching one of your YouTube interviews where you mentioned doing this Best Of marathon, but I’m left feeling a little confused. In the interview you mentioned how disappointed you were by the marathon and that out of the 32 shows, most of them you wouldn’t bother watching more of. But so far by the sound of it, it seems you’ve enjoyed most of these episodes and seemed interested in continuing most of these shows. Was it just something that changed after more reflection and time passing?

    1. While my enthusiasm did wane upon further consideration, there were a few that ultimately failed to entice me enough to check out the shows in their entirety. Looking back now, the ones that really captured my interest were Babylon 5 (I had already watched the first three seasons) and Space: 1999 (at least the first season).

      1. I’ve heard so many good things about Babylon 5 over the years, I guess I’ll finally cave in and give it a watch next year! And that’s totally fair. If you’re short on time and interest, then the ones I’d prioritize the most out of the list of 32 are Battlestar Galactica and The Expanse. If I were to put together a ‘100 shows to watch before you die’ list for everyone I know, those two would certainly be on there among classics like The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad etc. BSG especially had so many of my absolute favorite moments in television and sci-fi in general.
