Back in Montreal for the week.  And still feeling the lingering after-effects of whatever struck me those last few days in Japan.  Akemi is battling the same thing but feeling a lot better.

This after reading about an axe-murdering cannibal killer who was just granted conditional release.

That thumbs up emoji is the best.  Whenever that appears during a text chat, it’s as good as saying “This conversation is over”.

If it’s good enough for Wonder Woman…

  1. See-through fuselage? No, thank you. In 60+ years of flying, I’ve been frightened enough times without the altitude being shoved in my face.

  2. Big hugs for your Mum xxx and I hope that you and Akemi are 100% soon xxx Watched The Gorge last night – not too bad, quite entertaining for an hour or two. I’m rubbish being a critic! I’ll wait for The Monkey to come out on streaming. I really hope that it’s worth watching and scary, but I think that to do Stephen King’s books and short stories justice, a lot of them need to be an 18. Can’t wait to see 28 Years Later! Haven’t heard of some of them so I’ll have a perusal.

  3. The cannibal killer? I wasn’t going to Connecticut anyway.
Who would feel comfortable housing that guy? I’d have my bedroom door locked with a chair under the doorknob and a weapon at hand. 😨
Do you remember that Canadian guy that ate his seatmate on the bus? They let him out, too. Crazy. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38945061

Anyhoo, say Hi to your mom and I hope you can get your work done. Looking forward to your movie reviews!

  4. You actually made me Google “axe-murdering cannibal”. It’s now in my search history.

    Thankyouverymuch.
