Tomorrow, we begin our original Twilight Zone rewatch with the pilot/Episode 1: “Where is Everybody?”.
I’ll be posting a dedicated thread over on X (formerly twitter) where I’ll offer up some episode-specific trivia and my thoughts on the entry. Feel free to weigh in with your thoughts as well!
From there, we’ll be progressing in a similar vein at a pace of one episode a day well into July. Our schedule if you’d like to plan your next two months of viewing…

That’s this Sunday, June 16th at 8:00 p.m. E.T. Europeans fans can look forward to their own dedicated Spaces the following week at a much more reasonable hour (for them).

I think that worked soooooo….
One thing I don’t like about commenting on movies or TV shows (The Twilight Zone) is you can’t talk about the good stuff because it becomes a spoiler. The Twilight Zone is almost 65 years old. Why can’t I talk specifically about the ending of Episode 1 without ruining it for someone who hasn’t seen it yet? It’s no fun. They are always referring to “the twist in the end”. I want to talk about the twist in the end. I guess I could say “Spoilers” as a warning to those young ones who haven’t seen it yet. If we’re going to talk about it – let’s TALK about it. Everything ends up in code speak. Oh well.
@ Drea, Joe and All – I have surgery scheduled now in two weeks on the 25th. Getting more nervous now than last time.
I think that the statue of limitations for spoilers effectively expires after 50 years.

Oh and also, I have been very busy lately cleaning out my house. I pop into Twitter for brief periods throughout the day. I’m probably on an hour all together each day. I run through it, liking all of your tweets Joe 🙂 , and liking flower and animal tweets. My attention span is short these days. I short term memory is gone, for example, I can’t remember the point I was making with this comment!
@ponytail. Don’t sweat it girlfriend. We”ll be here whenever you want or need us. … Besides, you’re actually handling this much better than I initially did. I’m sure everyone here remembers how grumpy, stressed, out of focus, I was those first 16 months. Even small things like blog updates felt horribly overwhelming. I still feel a tinge depressed a couple days per week … And yet y’all were loving, patient, supportive, and put up with me till I got thru the worst of it. Sooooo, if you need to call someone to SCREAM! in the middle of the night – I think you still have my number in your contacts from 2016. I really don’t care if it’s middle of the night. Email if you need me to give it to ya again. If you want to rant on the blog or spout random thoughts… We love you and we’re here. Always xo
