  1. Mmmmm! Guess what I’ll be making for lunch today…

Akemi has such pretty hands and Suji has a sweet face.

  2. Sweet Suji!

Be glad you’re with someone that likes to cook.

If you run out of pizza dough, this recipe is the best! Easy, not many ingredients and very good: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/pizza-dough-3075408 It keeps in the fridge too but it’s easier to work when warm. This recipe works great as a pizza sauce. I use red wine, in place of the white wine: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ree-drummond/marinara-sauce-recipe-2120483 I make a big batch and let it simmer in a crock pot all day, plop a rind of Parmesan while it simmers for added flavor. Freeze the leftovers, it heats up like fresh and makes a good spaghetti sauce, too.

As for here, I’ve been working on our yard. I’m grateful to live out of the city so I can get some sunshine/fresh air. Since it stopped raining, I’ve been seeing more our neighbors out doing the same to their yards. It’s mowing season here and great exercise, since I can’t get go to the pool.

I know some of you are lucky to work at home but how is everyone keeping fit?

  3. One positive from this pandemic is no door to door religious/sales people.

  4. Oh Suji! How I long to scritch those cute little ears! 🙂

That pizza looks delicious. Much better than the Pillsbury Pizza Pops in my freezer.

    1. Occasionally she does. Which is why we always wear a top sett over our comforter AND put one of Suji’s blanket on top of the top sheet.
