  1. Gotta love that Hashtag Danger cover…funny and detailed–recalling the old Gold Key comic covers but with panache! My favorite of these books you posted is The Green Lantern 007…the interior art is equally as stunning. Liam Sharp, like Chris Weston, is inspired by the great Don Lawrence (he drew the mega series The Trigan Empire—took me years to find the entire run in digital form which is 3 gigabytes in size). who also drew the European sci-fi series Storm. Fine detail and enormously creative, recalling the old Dan Dare series of the 1950s. The Brits (Weston & Sharp, like Dan Gibbons and Bob Bolland) can draw!

    1. Trigan Empire. Wow, that takes me back. Paul and I met with a company that was looking to adapt those books for television.

  2. Hashtag Danger? Oh brother! Don’t tell me they are all going to start carrying around cell phones. I see Superman with a cell phone and I’m slapping it out of his hand or will stand close to him and talk real loud to someone else while he is on it so he can’t hear.

  3. I’m voting for Harley Quinn. It’s too funny and close to life. Every week someone falls off a cliff/building or gets eaten by a critter trying to get a selfie.

When you think about it, it’s good we grew up without cell phone cameras. Some things are best not documented. 😉

My son has tickets to Gen Con in Indiana. Is anyone on this blog going to that one?

I’m heading towards the Nashville area tomorrow. Have to make a Mom visit. The land without cell phone reception. She has wi-fi now. Mom turns off it off when we leave though. 🙂

Hope everyone is having a good day!
