Occasionally, more complicated sequences are storyboarded. A director conveys his vision to the artist who creates a multi-panel breakdown of the shots that will comprise a given sequence. For instance, here’s the initial Electus Corp flashforward sequence storyboard for Episode 304, “All The Time In The World” – directed by Ron Murphy, storyboard by Gergely Kapus:
And here’s some of the concept art for this scene, c/o of the amazing Karl Crosby –
As always, kudos to our hugely talented Production Designer, Ian Brock, for bringing it all to life.
Finally, a little quiz. Which two Dark Matter performers attended acting school together:
a) Anthony Lemke (THREE) and Jessica Sipos (Tash)
b) Zoie Palmer (Android) and Ennis Esmer (Wexler)
c) Roger Cross (SIX) and Torri Higginson (Commander Truffault)
d) Melissa O’Neil (TWO) and Alex Mallari Jr. (FOUR/Ryo Ishida)
e) None of the above. You’re just wasting our time.
B……Zoie and Ennis….York U
Pretty sure the answer is b)!
B
That scene in “All the Time in the World” was super creepy. 🙂
Also, the answer is b (York University).
The answer I think is b.
b
The dismembered Android was disturbing and creepily intimate. Horrific indeed.
And yes Joe, I’m up for Prissy’s of Vidalia’s Vidalia Onion & and Peach Hot Sauce! I did wonder about the name though…is this akin to the antithetical tendency among some to name their 80lbs Rottweiler ‘Fifi’?
@Tam Dixon:
My schedule is crazy for the whole month of July. For the last three weeks of July, I will have slept in my own bed only 2 and a 1/2 nights, and it continues July 31st with a trip to L.A.
There’s also conferences, college moves, and school visits in August and September..
All I can say is: “Help! Barb! Stop this crazy thing!” 😉
Ep 7 was another fab episode – kudos to everyone involved 👍
Go @ivonbartok and Paul Day
Definitely answer B!

I’m going to say B! Zoie and Ennis! Loving season 3 so far!
B
I guess c
I have no idea the answer! I thought I was paying attention, too. Hmmm.
B Zoie and Ennis!!
Yes, B.
Agree with JeffW – the Android segment – her in pieces was disturbing and creepy and an invasion of privacy is probably not the right word, but I was uneasy to see her so casually laid out like a puzzle.
thank goodness it was not a realllly long segment. shudder
b) Zoie Palmer (Android) & Ennis Esmer (Wexler)
Bee.
Since Zoie and Ennis know each other from acting school (answer B) they should have had Zoie slap Wexler around a bit in addition to giving him a shot in the ass… all in fun of course…lol
As much as I want to know who created the android, I am not keen on seeing her in pieces on an operating table. I agree. It is creepy.
Sorry, I’m playing catch up:
That condo stinks. Please, walk down the stairs and watch me take a shower. Or better yet, going poo.
I’ve had a few of the hot sauces on your list. Unrefrigerated shelf life seems to be about 2 years on most. I just tossed a few bottles that actually separated and would not recombine. The extract sauces, like Dave’s Insanity, don’t offer anything but heat. They’re a good novelty item, but beyond that, not worth having IMHO. Spontaneous Combustion is really good, as is Susie’s. And I am intrigued with Intrigue. I’ll see if I can find that for ordering online. When I used to make my own Habanero sauces, I would use Vidalia onion, garlic and mango. So I’m with you on the spicy-sweet sauce. Love it!
Cool BTS stuff on episode 304!
I’ll add my voice to the chorus. “The body parts were creepy.” It was a good scene too.
Hope life slows down a bit JeffW soon! Are you going to Oshkosh? I have a friend selling helicopters that’s going. It looks more like a big drone than a helicopter. 😉
I still need to catch up on the shows I missed this weekend! Eek! I returned dusty, overheated, tired, and a bit fried around the edges. So much fun.
Joe, is it my imagination, or does the sketch of the Mystery Man look a little like you? Self Portrait~ish?
B
Those storyboards make me so sad, I don’t know who that mad scientist is but I hope Android kicks the holy hell out of him when she gets her leg back.
That’s weird my comment never posted. I had said something that the episode reminded me of the Ice Truck Killer on Dexter with poor Android all cut up.
