How’d he do?  Well, hard to tell but I’m going to guess he didn’t exactly enjoy himself.  I’ll be interested to see if there are any discernible results.

  1. Hi Joe
It feels like a time travel episode, back to the olden days of 2017…

  2. I suspect the love therapy will be one of the most effective.

I only had one, unfortunate experience with acupuncture and that was when I was receiving physiotherapy for my right trapezius muscle, which had quite a painful knot in it. The physiotherapist suggested including acupuncture in the course of treatment and I said, why not? Well, within a week the knot actually “split” and I wound up with two. Both equally painful. So, never again.

  3. Poor Bubba – he does not look happy about those needles. Good thing they are followed up by love therapy.

You’ve got me wondering how those bikes are going to figure into the episode!

  4. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing this episode! It sounds like a lot of fun and my favorite episodes of science fiction shows always involve time travel. It also helps that it takes place in Wisconsin where I’m from. 🙂

  5. Why Wisconsin? Why that neighborhood? Who’s house is that? Why wouldn’t a nice house in Toronto do? Inquiring minds want to know.

Akemi’s Love Therapy is the best therapy any dog could want.

  6. Did Akemi save a piece for me!? With all my therapies: occupational, speech, physical, psychology, medical. I think I missed out on the loving. I will have to ask Jennifer, one of my therapists, if she will scratch me behind the ear or rub by belly.

  7. @Duptiang 😀 .

    Okay everyone…
Time give up the hugs, kisses and abundant ear rubs for our blog bro!

  8. Oh gosh! I bet Jodelle is having a blast playing the role of her own teenage daughter. ( or perhaps? grand daughter – depending on how far into the future the crew has traveled??). Cant wait to see the finished episode!
To this very day, my most fav time travel episode
on any tv series, is SGA’s “Last Man”.
Every detail was sheer perfection and sucked me right into the story!

Always wonderful to see Bubba getting plenty of love therapy.
Albeit, not so sure about the acupuncture?

On one hand, if he endures it ok without it stressing him out during the sessions, cant hurt to try, eh?
On the other hand, -that acupuncture cant actually treat the cancer directly and is more so utilized for easing symptoms and drug side effects, such as anxiety, achiness & loss of appetite, why? put him through the stress of it,
if he’s still having mostly good days where he feels up to taking walks and has a fair appetite. Might be best saved as an option for further down the line??

  9. Love therapy is the best therapy!

Not many woman can pull off goth chick like Jodelle Ferland! Hot!

Oh man Joe! I went to Minami restaurant… wow! Just wow! That was some quality sushi! I think I’ve never had sushi with ingredients so fresh. Wasn’t cheap, but money very well spent!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll go back there before I leave Vancouver and if I get broke in the process no matter! The Sushi love is strong in this one! ;D

I hope you have great and warm weather for shooting!

  10. Computer woes have had me off for several days. Still isn’t right, but they are coming to my house to fix what they messed up.

Soon the countdown to new episodes begin! 🙂

  11. Zoe makes a pretty blog cover!

I agree with Ponytail from yesterday: Why tease us with One? 🙁

Also, like KathyC, What’s with the bikes?

Birdyincanada: That sushi sounded great but I thought everyone gets Cuban food in Miami?

Yes, I’d agree with Drea about acupuncture. It’s no cure but it might give him some pain relief. I’ve never been one for “voodoo” but if something works, then go for it! Looks like love therapy is Bubba’s preferred medicine of choice. 🙂 Thanks for that picture. It’s always good to start the day with a happy pug face.

Storms rolling through here today. They close the lap pool when there’s lightning. 🙁

Hope it’s a G’day (or G-night for Aussie friends) Everyone!

  12. @ thanks Drea. (Oh that thumbing was from my nervous foot.) I can understand the computer issues as I had to deal with them because of my password recall (lack of memory) due to my accident. If that was not a memory exercise! Hope it works out. My Mom has a geek squad membership for her frequent computer issues. Getting better every month.

  13. Can’t wait to find out what brings the Raza crew to the fictional town of Fort Falls, Wisconsin – time travel #bringiton

@Drea I, too loved the SGA episode Last Man 👍

  14. @ceresis: Taking a closer look at the goth hairstyle, neon colors of the bicycles and the homes featured in the pics… it’s possible Joe is going to bring us back in time to the 1980’s rather than forward. ?

  15. Aw, Akemi! That is by far, gonna be the best therapy EVER!!!
    That and your amazing food!

  16. @Drea I’m with you in the going back in time. And I want to find out more about the party that is happening at the Connors, one that you take cookies to! lol

  17. Just thinking …
The bikes are reminiscent of ET surely? – and the Raza crew are taking cookies (?!) to the Conner’s house…

@Maggie L80, you sort of got your request … Aliens visiting a Terminator character’s home ???

Oooo, that’s a pretty tenuous link innit? Sorry 😶

  18. I’d keep doing the acupuncture for now. I know there is a mixture about acupuncture in dogs and cancer and if it helps or not. It isn’t just pain that it might be helping. It could be helping with nausea from the chemotherapy. It helps keep the white blood cell count up. It helps in immune support. Where the iffy part comes in the issue of increased blood circulation. Does that help them overall, or does it contribute to tumor growth? There is a mixture of thoughts among vets on that. My vet is certified in doing acupuncture now. I’d do it in a heartbeat if I felt it could help Boomer for any future illness he might get. But I would make sure I took objective data at home to see if there truly was an improvement (in appetite if that decreased, in movement if that decreased, etc.). You know with autism I live a data-driven life.
