Door to the bridge – under construction.
The bridge – under construction. Lights, monitors, texturing and details still to come.
From the outside looking in.
One of the command consoles.
Closer… I’m thinking a rotating command chair up front and center.
Shooting on the bridge of the Ishida cruiser.
Oooo very cool! Love it!
Wow! That looks great! It has a very different and distinct look compared to the Raza.
Great pictures and it looks very “imperial” too. Love the colors and can’t wait to see it in action!
Amazing work. 🙂
Hi Joe
You were always involved with some good looking ships. Now you’re making them. 🙂
Elminster
Looks awesome! 🙂
Good evening all… very nice ship interiors. I know you said more details, textures, etc. to come Joe, but I’m impressed with what I already see. Such wonderfully talented set designers, crafters, builders on this production. I’m sure competitors are jealous as all get out.
Agree with gforce, very distinctive look & feel.
I’m so looking forward to the S2 premiere. Seriously.

So cool to see the interior of the Ishida Cruiser! Seeing the “From the outside looking in” image gives me a hint of what the exterior coloring might look like. That’s assuming there were shots taken from just outside the main window. I’m super excited to see this season. What a great summer 2016 will be!
Super cool ship. That’s my favorite insignia and I love it on the ceiling! *so excited* for season 2 I might pee my pants a little when it comes on!!
That is a very pretty ship. All the pictures have been so interesting. And Twitter has been awesome lately with the new and old pictures. Lets get this show on the road! Is it July already?
@ Tam – Good to hear your friend Jo is going home for a little while. I’m sure it will make her feel better even if it for a short time. I have been following all your updates on her health. Please tell her people she does not even know are praying for her and wishing the best for her. Hoping she has improved health.
Your team has outdone itself! Great attention to design & detail. The House of Ishida will be a formidable force to be reckoned with!
WOW, just looked at the trailers! CAN … NOT … WAIT!
The Ishida cruiser is very cool! Clean and stylish.
I was going to make a joke about jettisoning the extra weight caused by the concrete blocks in image 3, but then I remembered the weightlessness of space. And not being able to hear screams. Allegedly.
Have a great holiday, Americans. Canada, UK, we’re off on Monday for Memorial Day. Yay!
That is one classy ship. Nice.
DM’s crew did a fantastic job on the Ishida cruiser! Shiny!!!
Thank you so much Ponytail! It means a lot of to me that you’re praying for her. I still can’t believe she’s going through this. :Shock:
How are your parents? How are you? It’s a lot of work taking care of parents!
Not a lot of seating on the Ishida, it would be funny if there were no chairs except for the captains, and the crew were like young Dick Cheneys who never sit down at work.
I LOVE that you’re using Mons as part of the ship design.
(Readers, Mon sort of translates to family crest.) Here’s a link (or address?) to mine — http://www.japanusencounters.net/mon/kamon/mokkou.gif
@You were always involved with some good looking ships
I’ve always loved the Destiny. It’s probably one of the best looking ships on TV in recent years. Though the MCRN Donnager and Rocinante on The Expanse look amazing too.
That is cool, so much attention to detail again 👍
@riss: Cool!
Great design!
@gforce — Thank you.
