In spite of the fact that the production office is my “place of work”, I’ve been accomplishing very little in the way of actual script work there of late. I’ve been spinning my wheels on a complicated sequence that has been made all the more complicated by the fact that I’m dealing with all new characters with all new agendas aboard on all new ship. And while the obstacles presented are by no means insurmountable, they have proven exceptionally challenging given that whenever I get a bit of a run going, I get distracted and have to start over. MGM needs this behind the scenes feature approved. Back to square one. Did you read Alan’s script yet? Back to square one. What’ll you have for lunch? Back to square one. I finally did manage to tackle the sequence last night and, between 8:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., actually succeeded in slotting all the pieces of the puzzle together. I was relieved – until this afternoon when I learned that some assumptions I had made based on previous conversations no longer applied. Back to square one. I’ve decided to shelf work on the script until we can all agree on a plan of attack.
Allowing me to shift gears to that super secret project – actually, a short story I’m working on for an upcoming anthology. This one offers a host of very different problems but, at least, at the end of the day, they’re problems I can solve alone while I’m lying in bed wide awake between 2:00 and 4:30 a.m.
Oh, to those of you weighing in with concerns about character ranks and seeming errors in logic – they’re not mistakes. Yet! The character of Tamara is not an inexperienced medic with the rank of Captain. She’s a sergeant. And instead of a medic, we’re considering making her a reiki master instead. Similarly, the character of Brody, the engineer, has been replaced by a super intelligent meerkat, also named Brody. The other characters remain as they are with the following exceptions:
Stasiak is now Greer.
Greerson is now Johnson.
Tamara Jon is now Tamara Young.
Colonel Young is now Colonel Nash.
Lt. Nash is now Lt. Scott.
Longtime Stargate Script Coordinator Scott Timmons has been replaced with Production Assistant Destiny Geldereen.
The name of the ship has been changed from Destiny to McDonald.
Everyone associated with the production named McDonald has been fired.
And that, hopefully, should clear up any confusion.
Finally, since many of you asked nicely, here’s a super pictorial compliments of Lawren who spent twelve glorious days with the dogs while Fondy and I were away in Montreal. Now, merely uttering the name Lulu in his presence is enough to trigger an intense panic attack. Poor guy.
Well, at least your dogs haven’t changed names lately. Or have they?
Ok, not to gripe, but why the dearth of Maximus pictures? I mean, all the pics are great but certain of the pack seem…overrepresented. Still, good to see them all in full doggie charm mode.
I’ve taken down the one picture on one wall so I can utilize a magic marker and keep up with all the changes going on with Stargate Universe. Given all the other changes, perhaps a new name for the show itself? Stargate Bubbles maybe? From the sound of it, you should soon regain that exalted state of sleep deprivation which will provide more than sufficient hallucinations to fuel future scripts. Thanks for the progress report.
I thought you had died. I mean…I got up to use the potty (yes, I’m 3 years old 🙄 ) at 1:30 am, and decided to see what I had missed for going to bed early…and no entry yet. I was worried. But you made up for it with all the cute puppy pics! Now I can crawl back into bed, and sleep well knowing that you are safe and sound.
God, I’m starting to feel like your mommy. 😛
das
@Das I was worried too! I get home from work at 12:05 I usually fix supper and sit down at the computer to A) check the blog and B) talk to my friend in Thailand. There was nothing from anyone. Well to tell the truth I was worried at first but then I thought He does this everyday it’s ok to be late or miss one day. Then I reread yesterday’s blog and thought he had won the lotto and abandoned us. I just got back on to see if my friend had logged on yet and “Hey new blog… ohh how cute!” So Das are you feeling any better?
@ Joe The pups are so cute. I love seeing picks of Jelly. She reminds me of one of the cats here that has taken over my bed. Actually they are nothing alike other than consuming mass amounts of sleep and occupying as much space as possible while doing so.
You weren’t apart of the McDonald’s team where you? It sucks to fire your self. I’ve done it before. I quickly hired my self back when I realized how valuable my skills where to the company. It worked out for the best in the end, had to offer myself a raise to get me back.
*wipes brow* Phew and here I thought you’d gone off and died on us or something.
Great pics of the pack.
Hey quick question- are you going to do(or would you be willing to do) a repeat of last year’s Fan FUEL’d dinners?
I would love to come up(but alas am not attending the convention *again*) but need to know so I can make plans. And find appropriate footwear 😉 😛 😉
Is Lulu small for her breed?
Thank Lawren for all the cutie-pie pictures. I quite understand why there is only one of Maximus, the look on his face says it all really (point that thing at me once more and I’ll rip out your jugular! …one day)
Lulu bears more than a passing resemblance to that great intergalactic pest Stitch! Are you sure there’s no room for her in SGU? maybe as a disgruntled cook/rogue scientist/security guard
Jelly, on the other hand has that archetypal Matriarchal bearing that cries out “A HANDBAG!” a la Lady Bracknell.
Friday at long last! Have a peaceful weekend I know I intend to!
Joe, it’ll all be peaches and roses. Rest easy, baby.
McDonald? I smell corporate money behind this move, and it smells delicious…
apologies once again Joe, but it FINALLY worked and now my work here is done its time for my second caffeine infusion of the day to kick start just about everything.
Ahhh, the things one can accomplish between 2 and 4:30 a.m. Although in my case, it’s usually between 2:30 and (gulp) 7:30 a.m. Of course, on nights like this, you’ve got to have a MOAN (mother of all naps) around 1 p.m. Excellent pics of the pups, good to see their cute little faces! Ok, so I’m outta here, it’s 3:20 a.m. and time to do laundry…
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! That’s brilliant. I do pity those named MacDonald though. 😉
Heeeeeey Joe! I’ve been remiss lately, and I’m working on catching up with the blog. Gotta give a late thanks to Rob Cooper for that enlightening, honest, and overall brilliant Q&A! I enjoyed it a lot.
If only I had the time and imagination to offer some Universe questions, along with all the great Vegas ones!
Congrats Joe on getting through 2 weeks without suger, and then eating 2 weeks’ worth of suger in the few minutes after the 2 weeks are up! Any plans on trying it again soon? 😉
A big THANK YOU to Lawren for those pics! They are oh-so-cute. They almost make me want to get a dog. Almost
It’s probably dangerous to say it here, but I’m not a big pet person; I attribute this to my dad who, as a doctor, warned me against the dangers of dog bites (Rabies, mostly) when I was just a little kid. Thanks to that, I was afraid of dogs for most of my childhood and my teen-years.
Much appreciate it, Dad. Speaking of which, it was his birthday today! He’s 56, and he’s got more black hair on his head than most 40 year olds I know. He’s not even balding, at all. Hopefully that runs in the family. 😉
That’s it for now. I felt that I should drop by here at least once a week, even if I’m busy.
Oh wait, a question:
So the rank/medic thing for Tamara’s worked out, what about that “Sr. Sergeant” rank for Stasiak/Greer? That rank doesn’t exist. What is up with that?
I am confused… is this going to be Stargate McDonald, to boldly go were no burger has gone before? And they will have a great enemy in the veggie alliance? “Ready photon tomatoes!” 🙂
Three time ‘hooray’ for the new pictures! It brightened my day. Lulu and Jelly on the couch are the cutest!
Hey, with all the mm changes on the show, why not to make it Stargate Dog Universe and cast Lulu as a new Colonel? Maximus would make a great touch silent guy like Ronon or Teal’c… yeah yeah. I can see it. Instant success.
And Destiny/McDonald I would re-name to Wendy’s. Do not be se*ist.
xx
Awwwwww, The Jelly and Lulu Photo’s are just adorable!!
But I just LOVE Maximus! The look he is giving the camera in that shot is just priceless! LOL
NZJ
Hi there Joe,
thanks for the lovely & cute dog pictures. They are so adorable. I must confess that Lulu is my favorite.. 😉
Until later,
Sirle
Joe, I get confused about things like… Production Assistant, Creative Director, Executive Producer who’s apparently also the writer and…. you know things like that. Have you ever explained already how all of that works, who does what? If not, could you?
Cuz I don’t think at least the Atlantis dvd’s had that feature… I mean I remember a feature about the people who do the lighting, but that’s it I think.
What fantastic pics, You should frame some. ^^
Hi again Mr M!
Love the pics of the dogs!!
@Carl Binder:
Re: Fight Club Challenge :
You forgot Rule 1 (a)…..Don’t mention rule 1!!!
AND dress warmly!
Best to all
Shirt’n’Tie
So, basically Lawren was housebound & bored? And Maximus is a good hider or just doesn’t like having his picture taken?
Meerkat?
I tells you – I’m warming to the charms of these dogs (as well as Jonathan Ross’ Mr. Pickle). I’d happily watch a 45 minute show just with these cute things running around.
As for the naming confusion, I understand the Battlestar Galactica people have done something similar. For the remaining few episodes, it’ll now been known – as a tribute to Douglas Adams – Frogstar Eccentrica (and besides, I’m sure there USED to be a triple breasted whore in the original Glen Larson show).
Love the doggie pics, So cute. And yes how come all the pics of Jelly, Lulu and Bubba and only the one of Maximus?
Okay throwing me. Are some or all these names changes for real?? I’m like What the!!!
Love the dogs! Always a joy to view them. Thanks for the furry post Joe.
Oh dear. How can you stand to be around all that cuteness?
Whats the super secret project? Is it the movie? I think it is carma comming full circle very soon. It seems to be harder to script for a new series after bagging a real great series, or maybe it is ur inner-self thinking what have I done what have i done. Are you thinking to urself WWTFD ( what would the fans do ). I would be thinking how could I fix this and then it hit me I could do a crossover show where the cast from atlantis would take 2 ships back to the Pegasus galaxy and on the way back one gets lost cause it came out of hyperspace too early and cant get in touch with the other ship, nah nah that sounds too corny. Well dont know but keep hitting the scripts.
I never realised how much your dogs actually look like real people I know. Especially Lulu. I don’t mean for that to sound nasty…these people are wonderful and kind but how much they resemble your beloved pets is kinda scary!
I wish I knew how to link a picture to you. My “Bill” is now a year old and if he were to stand on his hind legs, he would tower over me…and while I may be only 5’3-ish, he sure isn’t tiny.
Do your little dogs talk to you?
Bill will soon let us know if he’s tired or bored by yawning or blowing air through his jowls.
Bill’s latest trick is to dig up the plants that hubby has nurtured through the drought and re plant them in his little dirt pile…upside down and in a few hundred pieces! Needless to say, hubby is not impressed but I sure get a good laugh out of it!
I’ve been reading your blog for about a year and never posted before, but as a new “grandma” to a dog I feel I just have to after all those pictures.
My 17-year-old son had been threatened with severe disfigurement if he brought home another cat (we have 6 in an apartment), but I forgot to mention dog. His girlfriend found a stray Pit Bull and her mom wouldn’t let her keep it, so guess who has custody? Yup, that would be me.
She’s really sweet and hasn’t tried to eat the cats yet, although you can’t convince them of her good intentions. I’m getting forced exercise when JD’s at school since I can’t just let her out on her own.
Getting back to SG stuff – I love reading about the behind the scenes workings and what goes on in your head as you try to put together a new show. Keep up the good work on Universe and it’ll be another great show!
Enjoyed the dog photos – as pugs, they are doing what they want to do, when they want.
I suggest that maybe you can use your dogs’ names as characters in the new show.
Maximus = ship captain and sofa protector
Jelly=cook and nap specialist
Lulu=comm officer and rug attacker
Bubba=military muscle and eternal optimist
Hey dude, you’re slacking!
anyways I just wanted to share this with you, good old Eric Idle!
http://dingo.care-mail.com/cards/flash/5409/galaxy.swf
Enjoy
My brain hurts now! I’ve got enough troubles with names to begin with, but names keep changing! Eek!
“The name of the ship has been changed from Destiny to McDonald.
Everyone associated with the production named McDonald has been fired.
And that, hopefully, should clear up any confusion.”
That really reminded me of the Monty Python and the Holy Grail opening credits sequence..I love that. It’s the main reason I watch the movie! Haha..
Very adorable doggie pictures. I’ve got a few shelter dogs that, when I hear their names, I hold my breath and fight down panic. They’re all good dogs, but some are more…enthusiastic than others.
Hi, Joseph. I will to present you my Stargate Atlantis Set Modell. Please look here :
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=J1R5fjKUjg8
Sorry for my bad english, i am from Germany. I Hope you like my work.
Maximus needs more camera time.
I got your back Maximus.
The dogs are soooo cute as usual. Lulu does seem like a handful, but I have to tell you can’t be anything compared to my daughters two pshyco dogs.
I visited my daughter last weekend in Florida where she lives and she has two dogs that are cute enough, but I think because they spend a lot of time in a crate (which I don’t think is right), they are very fiesty. I had them tame at the end of the weekend because I didn’t let them put them in the crate for two long. They called me the dog whisperer because they were laying on me and at my feet by day two. I do attract the more interesting of creatures, lol.
Hey Joe,
Well, at least Lawren had the time to take pictures. Once, when I was taking care of my sister’s Great Dane, I walked into the family to see the dog had eaten my sister’s new sofa. 🙄 No time for photos on that puppy-sitting gig. Also, I got fired. 😛 Not that I complained. I was going to quit anyway.
And NOW there is a meerkat on the new SG show? Sweet!
Ok. I’m off to surgery. We’ll see if they can fix my wrist. Wish me luck! I hear there is a cast and stitches invovled. Oh joy! If I’m MIA it’s because I don’t want to type with just my left hand.
Good luck on figuring out a game plan for SGU!
Trish 🙂
Coucou Joseph =)
Awww! I LOVE BUBBA! I’m going to start an I LOVE BUBBA fanclub.
Do you have a pic of Bubba and Jelly together? They look exactly the same except Jelly might be a little bigger. Or you are just putting us on and it is the same dog named Bully?
Hey Joe!
Thinking of giving yourself a name change too? How about Joseph ‘The Fonz’ Bonderowski Esquire the Third? 😀
Love the photos of the dogs! All of them came out amazing (your dogs are very photogenic 🙂 ), and they are really cute!
Thanks as always!
– Enzo Aquarius
I was just going to say ‘wow Joe bought himself a proper camera’, though I see the pics are complements to Lawren. Tell him to stop using the auto mode. 😉
@ suziesbluefeather – Thanks for asking, but no…still feel like crap. My temp is down right now (always is in the morn), but if it goes back up tonight, I’m going back to the doctor. I really don’t think they took me seriously when I was there on Wednesday because my temp was down, and I have few symptoms, other than a constant throat tickle, and some congestion that they thought might be allergies. Uh…I don’t think so!
I just don’t want it to turn into something worse, so home today (again!), sleeping and catching up with my comics (I have 30 – yup, 30! – Amazing Spider-Man comics to read). I’m basically caught up with everything else, but these were coming out 3x a month, so…needless to say…they pile up quickly. I kept setting them aside, until now. But I think I was waiting for a day just like this…I am having great fun reading them, and it really has helped take my mind off of how crappy I feel from the shoulders, up.
@ Joe – Can you guys change the Destiny‘s name, for reals? Pleeeeassse??! EVERYTIME I see the name, all I can hear in my head is Gene Wilder, ranting away in his sleep…
“I am not a Frankenstein. I’m a Fronkensteen. Don’t give me that. I don’t believe in fate. And I won’t say it… All right, you win. You win. I give. I’ll say it. I’ll say it. I’ll say it!
DESTINY! DESTINY! NO ESCAPING THAT FOR ME! DESTINY! DESTINY! NO ESCAPING THAT FOR ME!”
(sometimes I have my suspicions as to where you guys come up with your inspirations… 😉 )
😛
d as in Destiny
@dasNdanger: Hope you get better soon!
Phew! now I understand why you’ve been posting so late.
I’m *very* interested in your short story! Is the anthology part of the Stargate-verse or are you venturing into original fiction? Or is that the super secret part?
Couple questions…
1) Did you get a new camera? I ask as I noticed you’re playing with depth of field with the doggy shots and I hadn’t noticed that before. Neat.
2) Will there be Wraith in SGU?
3) Wild but how-can-they-not-be-accurate rumors abound that Brody, the superintilligent meerkat, was promoted to captain (it seems Ralph, the Meerkat, has a very good agent and blackmail photos of someone) and that Tamara was demoted to sergeant, and that Brody is also addicted to the Pegasus Galaxy version of catnip and in episode #106 nearly blows up the ship when he haphazardy knocks a V8 into a control panel…. Sooo.. any truth to it? 😉
Cute dog pics and “short story” – sounds interesting. Can’t wait to hear more.
Thought I missed John Joseph Adams. This is the first book I bought and read (well I have to finish up a few stories but mostly done) based on your recommendation. Helps that I too love the idea of Zombies (for most of the reasons you and JJA stated in his intro).
I will say that while I had many favorites and was indifferent to negative on a couple others – the one that I just couldn’t get out of my head (and still can’t) was This Year’s Class Picture. I loved the way it progressed (nice pace and great visual description) and developed the Ms. Geiss character. Not only was it a good gory read but it somehow had heart. Not something I expect from a zombie tale.
Question for John Joseph Adams
Great compilation! So fun to read. I must admit that I see you as a Zombie expert now. I’d love to hear your thoughts on slow moving vs fast moving zombies. Which is scarier to you? Which is most likely to be true in the event that the dead did become reanimated? Lastly, were you a fan of Shaun of the Dead?
Thanks Joe and John
P
Cool! A super intelligent meerkat!!!!!!!! Now that I’d tune in for…….though I would have thought a super intelligent lemming would be more fitting……..
Hey, wow, thanks for the pictorial. That’ll help allot.
That is so cute it’s SICK!
That kind of stings about the new show. Still haven’t gotten over the loss of SGA yet… I know I’m probably very pathetic but that’s the way it is.
Terribly adorable dogs. I know a friend who is simply mad about pugs. Do I have your permission to offer up these pics for her love and affection?
Lawren took some really nice pictures of the dogs. Beautiful!
[joke] Will Lulu be changing her name to Jennifer Keller or Jewel Staite anytime soon?[/joke]

Hey, if I can do it, you can do it! 😀
(Please feel free to stop reading as the rest is a medical update.)
Normal range for hemoglobin is 11.5-16.0. (The highest I’ve been since this whole mess started last March is 10.5.) I had to have the transfusion due to mine dropping below 8. One week after, it was at 9.3. Still low, but fairly usual for me. This Tuesday morning’s blood test shows my hemoglobin at 10.1.
I’ve been having wrist pain, sometimes severe, in my right wrist for some time now, but recently it’s gotten worse. They have me wearing a brace as much as possible and limiting my right hand usage. They’re going to do another assessment next week to determine our future course of action. Of course, I’ve now begun to have the same type pain in my left wrist.
I have finally quit hacking and coughing, my sinuses are no longer under explosive amounts of pressure, and my voice is (slowly) coming back much to the horror of the staff here. I have a lot of complaining to catch up on. 😈
Anne Teldy
Thanks for the doggie slide show! They’re adorable. Good to see they’re up to their usual antics.
Hmmm. A meerkat, eh? That should be fun on a ship…Best of luck getting your script together.
OOH! medical comparisons! I have it on good authority that my thyroid is an anomaly..honest. I went back for blood test results today having had my thryoxine dose reduced from 175mcg to 150 mcg daily, well to say I regressed would be an understatement, the carpal tunnel syndrome returned with a vengeance, the hot flashes were also due to the drop and the irrationality was unbelievable (stop laughing) I was in tears the minute anyone looked at me so when my retest was done I put myself back up to 175 and as my results bore out my reasoning (TSH was 13 previous test was .2)Original tests done 2 years ago should have had me in a coma (T4 = 2, TSH >100) Doc said he had never known of anyone with such a delicate sensitivity and when I queried whether this could have been the problem all along (having suffered debilitating bouts of depression since 17) He said it was possible but there was no way of knowing. I felt shit loads better cuz I’d convinced myself over the years that I was a basket case now I can tell myself it was physical not mental…hey I can kid myself if I want 😛
*Poor Joe, wondering at the type of people he attracts to his blog, runs screaming into the sunset.*
Huh, either there is no book for me in the BOTM selection or there are even two. I will probably come under stress with all the reading:
I’m just reading Hawks’ The Dark River (I like it even better than The Traveler). The Dark Beyond The Stars is on my table and wants to be the next book.
But how could I resist ‘good versus evil’ and the Arthurian legend? No way. I reflected a little longer about reading Dogs. It sounds very interesting. I’m just more a cat person 😉 (however today’s pics are really cute). And in the end this book has won, too.
I’m not complaining. I love to discover new authors. Even more because I’m under the impression that most of them are not much known in Germany.
And a belated thank you to Paul Mullie and Robert C. Cooper for their Q&A. I loved Vegas.

Best of luck Trish. Get better soon.

Thanks sooooooo much Lawren and Joe for the doggie pics. They’re adorable. Man, that couch looks comfy. Lawren, how are the therapy sessions going?
Cheers, Chev
Hey Joe, question about Atlantis:
Did the writers ever discuss how ZPMs were manufactured or recharged? I always figured the last episode would reveal something like this:
Atlantis Control Room
McKay to Chuck: You know, it’s hard enough to fix this equipment without worrying about you spilling your coffee on a 10,000 year old keyboard. Could you not bring drinks in here?
Chuck: No, the Ancients were prepared for this. Look, cupholders!
Chuck presses a button and a round recess appears on the panel. He proudly puts his cup in the hole.
Chuck: See!
McKay: When did you find this?
Chuck: First day we got here. Those Ancients thought of everything.
McKay: Sonofabitch! That isn’t a cupholder, its a ZPM recharging station!
Chuck picks up his cup and meekly takes a sip.
LOL!!!!!! @ Generic White Guy
Love the pics of the dogs. : )
Hey Anne, Glad to see ya around, hope you are feeling better!! All of us with our middle age maladies(getting older sucks)! I MISS ALL THINGS SG-1 AND SGA!!!!! But there are 2 sg-1’s and 2 sga’s on sci-fi today/tonight!! No Sanctuary for awhile, fringe still on, but farscape and firefly/serinety gone forever, how could they do this to us? Yea, I know i’m a sci-fi geek, and proud of it. I’ll stop my ranting now! Joe, more spoilers , please,we’re dying here! Have a great weekend everyone. Sheryl
Adorable pics. Especially Lulu. Is she full grown now?
You had me going for a minute there with those name changes.
GenericWhiteGuy — Heehee… a scene like that would have been awesome.
So you are saying the ship is a whopper, eh?
I PROMISE I’ll watch SGU if one of your main characters is a Meerkat.
I love Meerkat Manor. 🙂
“Going to the Dogs” is never a bad thing around here… Loved the pugsie pictures! The dogs helped make my day… Bubba in particular makes me grin like an idiot. 😀 And Maximus, yep would have liked more pix of him, too. But the thing with Max is, he’s so classy, he’s just too cool for the room. He probably thought one photo was enough. If I could reach through the screen and scoop them all up, I would, just for a puppy hug. Thanks to Lawren for the photo shoot and Joe/Doggie Daddy.
Can Lawren do a guest blog on his experiences house-sitting, dog herding, snow shoveling, and backyard frolic filming? Has he recovered enough from the trauma? He deserves a blog after all that. He did entertain us, too.
* * * *
@ AnneTeldy
Howdy, Mizz Anne! Congrats on the hemoglobin levels going up to the good level. And the “squawk box” returning to normal. Did you see what shiningwit had to say about thyroid meds? Have them check yours, and your “levels,” that is. If it helped her carpal tunnel, it could help yours. We need both your wrists back in good typing form! Some or all of us may be, ahem, on the Cap’n’s “list,” and we need Major Teldy to come riding (er, writing) to our defense. We need your wit, also. 🙂
I’m just hoping you get your new entry up soon so I don’t think you died again…
das
Hooray for puppy pictures!!!
Haha I’m not sure how much of that last bit was a joke or not… lol I guess we’ll find out when the show airs, eh?
I find it hilarious that, the moment Joe posts late, we always think he’s dead.
Maybe his Internet’s gone down; maybe his dinner at Fuel ran long, maybe he got lazy, but nope, he must be DEAD. Lol.
It’s as if Joe’s life is so ridiculously dangerous that he may not last until tomorrow, which, coupled with his blog entries about daily life, just makes it all the more hilarious. 😀
Speaking of which, you’re kinda getting late tonight, Joe. Are you dead?
Hahaha, it’s so much better with das‘s post directly above mine (which wasn’t approved when I wrote my comment).
Unless his ghost is approving comments, I think he’s still in the land of the living! 🙂
I have a cousin who’s a Reiki Master…
Or so she claims… We don’t communicate much…
@Das, I’m sure He’s just having another ruff day. Has your fever gone away yet? I had the flu a week or so ago it stinks. Eat some chicken soup and drink some tea.
@pg15
… Maybe he’s been replaced with Folger’s Coffee…?
Trish Best of luck on the surgery. I recently got sprung from my writs cast (7 weeks, changing casts every two weeks!). Sending healing vibes at ya.
Joe – great pics of the beasties. They look as if they were missing you dreadfully. Really.
Poor Maximus. With only ONE picture of your highness I’d been a bit put off too. Tisk, tisk. 😉
This reminds me. I’ve recently bought a dog myself. I thought you might be interested in meeting her. Here’s a picture.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v36/veggiedawg/Llozzi.jpg
Her name is Llozzi.
Check.
