No. No, it’s definitely not just me. Time is speeding up! It felt like, just the other day, I was lamenting the fact that we had passed the halfway mark of our stay in L.A. – and suddenly it’s five months later, I’m in Montreal visiting mom, and the new Stargate series has been cancelled (Amazingly, however, despite it being two months since the unannounced rug pull, Stargate continues to trend as irate fans continue to voice their displeasure). My good friend, Alex, informed me that it simply seems like time speeds up as you get older because you fall into routine, but I don’t think that’s true. As I said, our time in L.A. was over in a heartbeat and, increasingly, I feel like THREE in the time loop episode of Dark Matter where he finds himself in bed yet again thinking “How did I get back here?”. IS it just me?
Meanwhile, over on X, they are changing the creator content rewards program. It’s neither here nor there as far as I’m concerned, but I do feel bad for the smaller accounts struggling against an algorithm that seems to only reward the bigger accounts. And, if I’m not wrong, they made the requirements for the “new and improved” creator rewards program even harder.
Easy peasy!
Two more days here in Montreal and then we are homeward-bound – to deal with home repairs. CAN NO wait!
