Back in 2019, a buddy of mine was aggressively approached by a homeless man who urged him to buy Chainlink. My friend foolishly dismissed the suggestion as an alcohol-fueled rambling and, two years later, Chainlink hit a high of $158. Had my buddy taken the aggressive homeless man’s unsolicited advice, he would have x350’d his investment.
There’s a double tragedy here. My friend’s squandered opportunity, obviously, but also the homeless man who, like the mythic Cassandra, was clearly doomed to know a truth no one would ever believe.
Some intriguing titles here. Justin Feinstein’s Your Behavior Will Be Monitored and S.L. Huang’s The Language of Liars look particularly intriguing.
