Lately, we’ve been spending a few hours each day at our local bookstore. I read, Sharky naps, and Akemi works on the puzzle in the dedicated puzzle section. She’s obsessed! Yesterday, the fire alarm went off and she attempted to evacuate with her latest project –

If I were still voting in the Amalgaverse, I’d have to go with “River Tam”. Summer Glau is a San Antonio girl.
Before you ask, I stopped voting because I didn’t recognize quite a few of the characters. Call me uninformed.
Garak would be awesome anywhere. Can you imagine Garak, Ba’al, and Todd all marooned on an asteroid? Each would have ten different viable plans to escape their predicament but their berating of each other to shift blame for their situation would take up the rest of the episode.
Of the pictured options though, I think G’Kar and Chrichton would prove the most capable pairing, though G’Kar would have an interesting unwelcome proposition for Susan if he learned she was a latent telepath albeit not in the same league as Lyta.

What kind of puzzles does Akemi like to play? My hubby likes Sudoku and a couple of the Apple games on the iPad. I can get recommendations for her, if you’d like?

Yesterday was exciting. My hubby woke up with his tongue swollen. He’s been having weird allergy symptoms since he visited his brother in rural Arkansas last month.
Off we head to the ER and they pump him full of steroids/antihistamines. Thankfully, the steroids helped and he didn’t have to be admitted to the hospital. Then we went to the allergist’s office and hubby was diagnosed with Alpha Gal Syndrome.
Anyhoo, for a few months (maybe a year), we have to learn how to cook w/o butter, cheese, milk/cream, beef, or pork products. For a Southerner, that’s not going to be easy.
Oh no! Your poor hubby!

I love G’Kar but I still think River would add some nice chaos to the crew, plus she kicks ass.

When I lived in the UK my house was just down the road from a jigsaw puzzle manufacturer (https://www.wentworthpuzzles.com). They make fantastic laser cut wooden jigsaws. We probably have over 100 puzzles! It dwarfs my board game collection!
My sister is also mad about jigsaws. She has a whole room in her house dedicated to them!
