Round 7 –
I’m going to have to go with the two ships NOT from a show I worked on. As much as I love the wraith hive ship and the Galactic Authority destroyer, I love the design of both the Romulan Warbird and Shadow Vessel. In the end, the Shadow Vessel wins for its nightmarish design.
Round 8 –
Actually not a fan of the Cylon Basetar and the Dalek saucer ship is a little staid. This one’s a tough one but, in the end I have to give the Borg Cube the edge over the Goa’uld mothership simply for its “out there” concept and design.
And you?

Gotta choose the Cylon ship, they go to war in designer clothes and you get endless versions of yourself to download into.
Looking fwd for your news about your Mom and Akemi and Mr. Sharky’s adventures! 😃
Borg definitely! Loved them (you know what I mean?) since they were introduced and my favourite ST film is First Contact
The Warbird is simply iconic, and my choice. It’s kinda beautiful, too.
Agreed about the Borg Cube – it’s just a perfect representation of what the Borg should represent – cold efficiency.
I agree with you. The designs of the Romulan Warbirds and Shadow vessels are fantastic. I’d have to go with the Romulan Warbird. Even though the Romulans are antagonistic, once you get to know them they actually seem like they could be fun to hang around with. But the Shadows . . . Once you learn that [REDACTED] are the pilots of the ships I’m just gonna nope right out of there!
Those Dalek ships were so dumb. I assume they’re implying that Daleks have been visiting Earth for a while and that’s the source of the classic flying saucer design. But Daleks don’t just visit planets. They invade them. The conquer them. They exterminate them. The Cylon Basestar looks fantastic but lacks any functional design. There’s no reason to build something that looks like that. Especially something that is built by machines.
The Borg Cube, on the other hand, is totally something that would be built by machines. It is 100% functional.
As a human, the lesser of the evils would probably be the Goa’uld mothership. I’d probably be a slave cleaning the Jaffa toilet block or something but at least the people running the ship are less likely to want to assimilate me, exterminate me, or . . . whatever the hell it was the Cylons wanted.
Am I overthinking these?
