  1. Were your artists on the payroll as a staff member, or did they get paid so much per episode if needed, or did they get paid by the hour to produce these drawings??

    1. Artists were usually part of the Art Department. On occasion, they were freelancers but in the later seasons, much of the design was done by Production Designer James Robbins.
