Alas, those seemingly inaccessible hard drives, once accessible, were a bust. Mostly whale footage and videos of Special Features Producer Ivon Bartok’s trip to Dominica.  On the bright side, I was reminded that there are a couple of other more promising hard drives in my storage locker.  Now it’s just a matter of finding them.  In the meantime, enjoy more Stargate BTS goodies.  Concept art by James Robbins.

Hey, you know what I think we could all  use?  An all-new fourth Stargate series that pays tribute to the existing television franchise while setting out in a bold new direction, created by Brad Wright and Robert Cooper.  What do you think?

Yes, please. MGM is struggling with their “Origins” thing.

  2. I’m actually enjoying Origins more than I expected. I would, however, do almost anything to see something by Brad Wright & Robert Cooper.

  3. Fourth series? Brad? Rob? Hopefully you and Paul? Oh yes, please!! Always bettter to go forward than backwards. I’m just sayin’—

  4. Any tribute to Brad Wright and Robert Cooper is a worthy enterprise. Wish you were given the opportunity for a fourth season but SF knows better than those who have money and time to spend.

  5. Of course my dream would be to see Colonel Sheppard back in action again, but any of the SGA Team would be terrific. I’d watch for the guest appearances because I mostly want to see my old faves but I know you’d probably have to have a new and younger main cast.

  6. Joe I think I know you well enough by now to know that you wouldn’t even suggest such an idea unless there was actually something behind the scenes happening so I guess we all have something to get incredibly incredibly excited about.

  7. Please. SGU is still the greatest cancellation tragedy in TV history. No offense to DM. That’s certainly up there.

  8. Oh I’ll be watching Origins, I love a good web series. I loved Dirk Gently, Mr. Cooper is the shizzle. How do you have a pic of my dream patio? I need that Paradise Lost gate room and it looks totally doable, with a water feature standing in for the gate controls. I enjoyed the back half of Beyond Skyline, but the best part was the blooper reel. https://youtu.be/hpCnnw4V01k

    Of course we do.

Oh yes, yep, yeah, oh hell yeah, absolutely 100% yes. Just YES! That would be a dream come true 🙂

Although if that were to happen, please have McKay as a regular 😀

  11. Seriously, we all need a new Stargate series with Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper at the helm. Just look at how good Travelers is! Both guys could do amazing work on modern TV, and there wouldn’t be the same necessity for high ratings given all the different models for distribution that now exist. Let’s do this!

  12. Did someone say a 4th SG series created by Mr Cooper and Mr Wright?!

    YIPPPPIIIIESKIPPEEES! YAAAAYY! WHOO-HOO!

*and the cow jumped over the moon!*

While I’m enjoying Origin well enough.
10 ten minute webisodes amounts to
nothing more than a tv movie
broken up into little tease size pieces
    and being told
you can only enjoy a couple small bites of it each week.

    Dont get me wrong here.
Little bites can sometimes be a good thing.
Like when you want to savor Every wonderful bite
of Robert Coopers delicious homemade pizza.
Or when someones voice or words
    are fun to listen to
    but, all at once,
    kinda annoying,
(think Howard Cosell or Gilbert Gotfried
or when a loud mouth Greek gal like me
gets in the mood to go off on one of my decidedly long winded joke rants).
    But, Geeez Louise!
EVERYONE KNOWS you just dont do it
with a beloved TV series like SG
    that fans have been
waiting years and years and years
and then again, years after that,
    holding their breath,
    till they turn red,
    then finally purplish-blue,
    desperately hoping,
    against all hope,
it will grace their screens, if only once more
    unto the breach!
(or.. ur… somethin like that ay?!)

What they are currently doing at that Command site
is nothing short of illegal torture, no!
Hey! Arent you folks in so called enlightened “Canada”
supposed to be part of that Geneva Convention thingee
that protects the captured from being inhumanely tortured.

We are INNOCENTS I tell ya!
We didnt ask to be forever enslaved
    to the SG stories!

Heck its all the Goa’ulds fault!
    Yeah. Thats it, ay.
    Its Ra and Ba’als fault.
So make them suffer the less than sufficient nourishment of 10 minute webisodes
While we feast on the prospect of a real SG #4!!

Bring It ON!!!! … and dont forget Rob Coopers out of this world pizza too!!
