We had tons of fun bringing it to you.

And fans like Chris in Whitehorse, who made his very own Blink Drive, are the reason we’re having such a blast…

Pretty awesome, Chris!

Hoping we get to do it all over again in season 4!

  1. Such a great finale!! I admit you had me a but confused with the title, thought you were going backwards and starting from the beginning of the season.

Which reminds me…dog picture answers please!!

  2. As someone who started programming at the end of the punch card era, there’s something I love about Blink Drive:

Isaac Asimov’s 1950s stories extrapolated the vacuum tube technology of the time. At least a dozen stories featured Multivac, a future half-mile long three-story high vacuum tube supercomputer.

The blink drive prop looks like someone extrapolated punch card technology centuries into the future.

  3. Whew! So it’s not just me that looks shorter than Anthony! 🙂

That homemade blink drive is cool! What a great fan!

  4. Anybody know how PBMom is? Praying for her and her family and home. She lives in the now flooded Houston Texas area. Praying for all affected by the hurricane winds and flood waters in south Texas.

Wow Chris! Come on Syfy! Please.

    1. Hilda is OK, per her FB posts. (Hilda Clark Bowen)

I’m concerned about fandom friends “A & D”, a Houston couple that had to be evacuated by EMS and are now at an emergency shelter. Please keep them in your thoughts & prayers

    2. @Ponytail Hilda @pbmom is doing okay thus so far.
She lives in The Woodlands area.
Been checking up/messaging her via twitter throughout each day
as the storm moves closer to her neighborhood.

Our ed teams on twitter @NewScience101
have been doing their very best to keep everyone updated
on which sites to check and when for alerts and assistance.

Here is the latest update from Woodlands:

This is going to be one very long (slow moving)
      nasty storm to get through.
Its much worse than what happened with Sandy
in my hometown of Long Beach, NY.

Please keep praying for everyone in its path.

  5. Setting the stage for some major sparkage.

Someone needs to have a word with spaceship console manufacturers. Surely it’s not necessary to run high voltage wires with loose connections through these things?

  6. I thought it was unforgivable that Netflix cast that Death Note movie so poorly, the whitewashing was ridiculous. I don’t believe for a minute that they couldn’t have found an Asian cast for the Yagami family, Misa Amane and L at the very least. They had the perfect chance to be faithful to the material but in a US setting but they Dragonball Evolution’d it. Just ew.

Anyway, I hope the season finale gets great numbers on Monday.

  7. Now that One isn’t here; any chance on everyone moving up a notch? Can’t say “No.” to a fine example dressed in black leather. Here’s to a early announcement.

  8. Been away for a while, I know. I left my job a couple weeks ago in search of something better. I got tired of being disrespected, under utilized, under appreciated, and most importantly, underpaid. I’ve applied to a few places and have a couple more I’m applying to this week. Most of which start at a healthy raise from what I was making at my old job. Can’t wait to see what God has in store for me next!

    As for DM:

I really have no idea what the holdup at Syfy is for renewing the friggin’ show. Seems like it’s a no brainer to me. If it’s kept its numbers better, year over year, versus most other shows, is cheaper to make than some of the other shows on the same network, only has two more years they’d have to commit to, and all that other stuff you’ve been posting out….let’s hope the folks at Syfy are different than the folks at SciFi, and make the right call.

I don’t know if I ever told you my last name before, and that I am Armenian, but thanks for having a Dr. Aaron and Commander Tarkanian in the Dwarf Star Conspiracy episode! That was just neat to hear for me! I’ll just go ahead and assume that the doctor was named for me, whether or not that’s what you intended. 😉

In all honesty, though, like you warned us: the episodes are just getting better and better. They really are. More and more I find my mouth agape, or saying “Damn!” out loud, or “No way!”, or “Holy cow!”, or more frequently, just “Wow!”. Episode 10 was amazing, ep 11 ratcheted up the tension perfectly for 12, which I know I’ve said this before but this time I REALLY mean it, is the best episode of the series so far. The music was superb! I know that’s not really a common thing people mention about DM, but I’m a musician so that really stood out to me since it was so well crafted and fit the scenes so well in the season finale. The SFX were unreal. Again, this is an area that just keeps getting better and better and better. LOTS of WOW moments for me on this episode as well(again, my appreciation largely due to my experience as a graphic artist these last 5+ years).

How’s the move going? Did I miss an update on that? Did you pick a place in Toronto yet? What are Akemi’s thoughts on these last few DM episodes? How are the dogs?

Doing my best to stay up to date here,
    -Mike A.

  9. *chortles* Apple box…cherry box, more like…*runs away, cackling evilly*

  10. I still like the fish swimming in the background, hoping for renewal as well, come on!! Thanks for the bts photos, awesome cast/crew, everyone, fantastic job!!

  11. important Update on @PBMOM : Hilda’s area in The Woodlands is now experiencing flooding. She will be offline for awhile.

Will keep everyone posted if we hear anything more.

In the mean time: There is a link in previous comment posted to Ponytail above to check for Woodlands area flooding updates.

    Please keep Hilda, her family
    and everyone in Texas
in your thoughts and prayers today.

  12. And now for some ratings for the shows that matter.

    Killjoys – 628k, 0.16 18-49
    Dark Matter – 686k. 0.15 18-49
Wynonna Earp – Too awful to post.

Dark Matter was again the most watched show on Syfy last Friday.

    1. YAY! Way to go Joe! RAZA Crew! and all Dark Matter Fans!

If those numbers don’t get the show renewed, I don’t know what will?!

Thanks for posting this bit of good news @Randomness!
Am pretty sure we ALL really needed it today! XO

      1. Anytime 🙂

For anyone who cares, and they were really bad. Wynonna Earp – 439k, 0.08 18-49. What an awful number for a season finale.

  13. More cool BTS shots.
Every single person who brings this whole show together deserves kudos.
Thank you to all of you.

  14. Hi Chris, very cool blink drive design, just keep that prototype hidden before the Alt Razas steal it.
