Whoa!  Is that right?  Day 62 of 91?  We’re over two-thirds of the way through production on Dark Matter’s third season.  To quote Akemi: “How possible?”

Hey, to those of you wondering about our premiere date…join the club!  I’ve yet to hear official word but, if I were a betting man, I’d tell you to clear your June schedule.

Another awesome concept design from the mind of Set Designer Karl Crosby. What’s (or who is) in the pod?

  1. More fantastic photos, concept drawings and screenshots 👍

Fingers crossed for June 30th (Canada/US)
Then, July 3rd (UK – marked in my diary!)
Therefore, not too long until the Season 3 trailer is released and also, the new cast photographs!
Request…..can there be an ‘official’ photo of Lt Anders @jeffteravainen please?
I’m looking forward to finding out if he ‘saves’ Three…..or not 🤔

  2. I am always awed by the VFX work done by Lawren Bancroft-Wilson and his people. I hope he knows how much the fans appreciate his work and the work of everyone involved with the show. Thank you for continuing to highlight the unsung heroes of the Dark Matter universe.

I could honestly frame those screenshots above and hang them on my wall (or computer wallpaper); especially the middle one. They give me an “Alien” feel and that is never a bad thing.

    Can’t wait for June.

  3. I’m with Ceresis on this one.
    My money’s on a June 30th
    U.S. premiere this year.

Hope Ivon had a fun romp in the forest today?

    @Ponytail: Feel better soon .xo.

    Q. Who or what is in the pod?
    A. Me. Getting ready to self eject into outer space if the craziness of my Monday does not ease up here soon!!

  4. Ditto @ Thogar: I’d hang that on a wall in my home! It does have an Alien vibe.

Future episode as in time travel future or future as in an upcoming episode? Maybe Four will have a Scrooge moment and see what the future holds if he does not change his murderous ways. Can the Ryo in our timeline be redeemed?

The suspense continues! Counting down to the TBA date!

  5. Season 2 premiered in July because Wynonna Earp had its slot, making a June premiere impossible. I personally think June is a far better month to start Season 3 in.

  6. Maybe I will avoid my downtown. Last time I woke up in a strange rehab place and mist all of the second season. Thank for iTunes were I got the whole season to go a long with the first.

  7. Coool! June, okay I can do June. May would be better, April fantastic but June is not that far off.

  8. I’m going to go out on a limb with a wild guess and say that it’s ONE in the pod. Some sort of advanced clone from a previous transfer transit pod. Yeah, that’s it! All of the transfer transits that happen in a certain sector all get duplicates made to go to work in Ferrous Corp’s mines. They’ve got entire armies of people from regular folks to politicians to CEO’s all down in the bowels of a planet working hard mining some kind of unobtainium ore.

If that’s not it, you have my permission to use any and all of these ideas as plot points in the future. 😉

  9. I agree with Mike A. I think One is in the pod. Don’t know how. Maybe another AU version of him.

“On-set action from a, uh, future episode.” A future episode or an episode in the future (time travel)?

Lawren’s work has been outstanding. I agree with @Thogar on hanging those pictures on my wall.

I also echo @ceresis64’s thoughts about an official Anders picture.
