And that’s a wrap on Dark Matter Season 3 Production Phase II.  The third and final phase commences a little over a week from now.  Until then, it’ll be R&R&R (Rest and Relaxation and Reading) for me.

Unfortunately, not everyone made it to the hiatus.  But those that did have earned a well-deserved break from 7:30 a.m. crew calls and 7:30 p.m. wraps.

A rare shot of the bridge from fake space.  This is usually where the actors kick back between scenes.

Hey, do me a favor and keep an eye on The Raza nest cam while we’re away!

  1. Ok I’m back. Had my dose of scream therapy. Feeling much better now.
(wee bit o’ thanks also to my old pal jameson on the rocks) 😀

Came across this absolutely amazing, awe inspiring, time lapse vid today.
Thought you all might enjoy it.
Its by the spectacularly talented Mike Olbinski https://twitter.com/MikeOlbinski

Be sure to watch it in full screen with the volume cranked up!

Warmest hugs and always so much love to the ever sweet, irresistibly charming, Bubba Lulu & Suji.

  2. That Raza nest cam is bril’. Wish it could be downloaded…. Would be great as a screen saver!

Ooow, was that ….? Nope. My mistake 😂

  3. As well as the Raza nest cam, I’m watching Hot Fuzz. Forgot just how ridiculously funny The Cornetto Trilogy is! 😂

Enjoy your well deserved break, Joe, DM cast & crew!

  4. I missed reading the blog the last 2 days. My oldest niece died. Not unexpected.. years of severe heart problems, but 51 is just too young.

Palladia … I am sorry… at some point there are just no good options. I hope Bubba is one that responds well to it and it buys you several good months. You and Akemi are wonderful dog people. He has lived his life with you loved and cared for.

  5. @Drea WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was beautiful and terrifying and awe-some. Nature’s beauty and deadly forces. Thanks for sharing that.

@Debra I’m so sorry to hear about your niece. 51 is close to my age.

And hooray for R&R. I cannot begin to tell you how the short visit of my best friend lifted my spirits and calmed my soul.
