Tomorrow night on Syfy and Space Channel – 7 pm PDT, 10 pm EDT:

Yes, we’re already on to the ninth episode Dark Matter’s second season – “Going Out Fighting”.  Written by Supervising Producer Ivon Bartok.  Directed by Peter DeLuise.  Two names that should be familiar to fans of Stargate.  Guest starring Wil Wheaton as Alexander Rook – who may be familiar to fans of that other star franchise!

What’s going on with TWO?  What answers – and surprises – lie within the confines of Dwarf Star Technologies headquarters?  Well, maybe these photos will you give you a hint…

Or, maybe not.

A few things about this episode:

We’ll be introducing an element in this episode that will be a game-changer down the line.  Fans will be abuzz!

Cue up the Blink Drive for a very special jaunt.

And in typical Dark Matter fashion, we end with one helluva WTF?! moment.  Android fans, you’ve been warned!

Finally, via Syfy, here’s another sneak peek clip from tomorrow night’s episode:

  1. Aw-w-w… Sylvia, I commiserate, but Joe does make it all fun! I recommend extra vitamin B-12, to keep the old brain cells limber. Hey, it does also help to re-watch each ep, if you have access. One viewing is too much for me to absorb, I need at least three views to get the fullest understanding. Actually, #208 required 4 views… so much detail, subtlety, clues, quips, etc.

    How I view DM:
View 1 – just sit back and enjoy (no eating of crunchy items)
View 2 – catch uncaught dialog bits, pay attention to character play offs, tricky plot reveals
View 3 – try to fill in any outstanding questions, loose ends, connections to prior episodes & overall story line
View 4 – (only a few required this so far) try to connect the dots a bit tighter, imagine where the next ep or two will take us, just enjoy it again!

Joe, I often wonder just how much of all this story detail was part of your original plan and which parts were last minute changes due to time, equipment or some other limitations/considerations. Hm-m-m…

Anyway, I’m excitedly awaiting #209 tomorrow night to note DeLuise’s directorial expertise. He always does humor very well. So curious to know what’s causing Two’s nanites to die. Perhaps a built-in time limit, such as in Blade Runner?

    Hang in there Sylvia!

Joe – hoping for the best outcome for Bubba, such a brave boy.

  2. Two’s nanites are failing! End with one gargantuan “WTF” moment! Android fans, “you’ve been warned”! I agree with Elminister, I don’t know many more of these moments I can take especially after last week’s episode (which is now available for download on iTunes).

Love the pics, Three looking all pensive! And why is Six grabbing Three by the shoulders like that? Ivon Bartok writer, Peter Deluise director – this has got to be one great episode! No pressure!

    >>>The blink drive is a big game-changer….and now something else! 😳

Another WTF ending – go Ivon! 👍

  4. Peter DeLuise directing eh. I shall look out for the hidden “PD” somewhere in the episode. 🙂

  5. Quite a few cable shows have seen their ratings go up this week with the lack of Olympic competition. Let’s hope this carries over to Killjoys and Dark Matter and that both shows go Up Up Up!

  6. Good luck with the move Katy C! We moved our kid at the first of August. Three flights of stairs, ugh!

    Yay for Friday!!!!

    Six and Three look Stepford’ish”.

  7. The eps were so good and twisty, love the world building; the Raza crew has the right idea, stop and visit, cause chaos and be on your merry way.

Thanks for sharing a pic of my fave boy band, Sixty Three Degrees; I believe that pic is from their “Heart Full of Nanos” video. Sorry, my Pandora was full of slow jams this week.

  8. Looking forward to it. We have an overnight house guest tonight (haven’t had one of those in a very long time) but I think I’ll be able to watch & tweet live unless Patrick duty calls. I don’t have clients tonight, so that is nice.

    Good luck @KathyC

On that note, I have about 15 minutes to lay down before Patrick gets home, so I’m going to jump on that.

  9. Looking forward to seeing what our smart, talented, @IvonBartok came up with for this ep.

@2cats Yup! I also watch many episodes 4 times to catch & understand it all.
Dark Matter is the only show in the history of television that has ever inspired & all at once provoked me enough to do that.

YAY! Go Joe! Go Paul M! Go entire DM cast & crew!

    (((U ROCK!)))

Dark Matter -You know it’s there but you’ll never see it coming.
