I would often find him in his office, with that quizzical look on his face that said: “This script doesn’t make any sense!”

Dark Matter: Melanie Liburd On Buildilng Trust With Nyx

“I think they see something in each other; they realize their hardships and they’ve both gone through struggles. They identify in that way and I think they’re almost kindred spirits, which happens quite early on. Even in the prison, Nyx and Two come up against each other and fight, and they’re impressed by each other. They develop that mutual respect for each other, and that helps her trust Nyx.”

  1. This season of Dark Matter absolutely rocks! (Just like the previous one, but the stakes feel even higher now) Each week, as soon as the episode ends, I simply cannot wait for the next one to come along.

  2. I must confess I find Nyx a fascinating character, played brilliantly by Melanie Liburd. I love the connection she has with Four in particular – it’s quietly electric! 😉 (Really hate to think what’ll happen if/when Nyx finds out what Four did)
The Nyx and Two chemistry is wonderful too… very sisterly, in more ways than one.

Can’t wait ’til MONDAY (!) for next installment of DM, altho’ a tad nervous about the ‘shock’ bit at the end …

    … unless it’s One returning?

    . … somehow?

    . Please?
    . 😊

  3. So does everybody working there have to bring you booze? 😉 Like an entry fee. Hmm….

TheOtherOne: All it would take is for One to come back is a few words from the writer….. 🙂
What did Four do? Did I miss something?

  4. TheOtherOne: Don’t worry about answering. I asked hubby & son and they reminded me what Four did. Didn’t remember that. Must have blocked it out or maybe it was the wine….

  5. Counting down though sadly won’t be able to watch the show tomorrow. Will have to download it Saturday morning and “sneak” watch it while I spend the weekend with family in Asheville, NC.

Looking forward to Jason’s directorial debut in the DM universe. I know it’s gonna be great.

  6. On a side note: is anyone going to Dragon Con? Do you know the date of the DM panel. I know it’s Labor Day weekend but I can’t find a schedule.

  7. @Maggie L80 – DC has not released the panel schedules yet.
They have released their mobile app for apple and android. This has been quite useful to not get too overwhelmed by the bazillon panels.

They have listed photo ops for each of the DM cast plus a group photo of
    2, 3, 5, 6, and Android. – no Alex or 1.

and we wait for the schedule.
we do a lot of waiting lately…lol.
    oh well.

  8. I’m going to start drinking coffee on Friday afternoons. DM comes on at 11 here, early for some, but middle of the freaking night for me. I cannot stay awake. I can get up at three am happily, but cannot stay awake past nine or ten without a struggle. Unless I’m out in the desert and drinking, because the dust has no times but dawn, hot, cooling, dark, and passed out. Not necessarily in that order.

  9. I couldn’t agree more with the decision made regarding Thomas Gibson, it seems to be big news at the moment. If someone wants to act violently on set towards a writer or producer, they should lose the privilege of being a part of said series. It’ll be sad for the fans of the show who have grown to love his character, but actors can’t behave that way. It’s not right.
