Moon-base!  Mooooooon-base!  First scene up called for some major reinforcement of the corridor wall to withstand the, uh, “actor action”.  But director Amanda Tapping had it all figured out.

  1. This season is going to be so. Freaking. AWESOME.

    Couple of questions:

That solitary cell is pretty small. Also, does it not have some kind of, um, waste extraction unit?

What did Anthony do THIS time?? 🙂

The question for the answer: “What is Thunderdome?”

  2. Can’t wait for season 2!
I love the costume pictures, it’s cool to be able to see them properly 😀

  3. What is the dome of Trump Space Casino Tower and Presidential Residence on Hyperion 1?

  4. Please forgive following rant. I need to vent, but not on FB or Twitter.

It is a shame and a pity when a good friend will not heed requests to change from politics to another topic.

That is all. Sorry for the vagueness.

  5. I know you guys work hard, but you get to play in a spaceship for work. A SPACESHIP! And a space prison, which makes the whole thing even cooler. I’ve always wanted to play in a spaceship for work. Now, I’m even too big to pretend with cardboard boxes. I’m gonna need a bigger spaceship.

Today’s comment has been brought to you by the word “spaceship”.

  6. Jodelle is so young looking! And so cute! Anthony is a doll! Please don’t pick on him. That is a great picture of Bruce McDonald in solitary confinement. I bet he is always easy to find with that cowboy hat on. Those wardrobe outfits are really nice! Pretty!

  7. Is the domed structure shown the Cheeseball of Doom Torture Chamber?

(Sorry, you asked for a question….)

I wound up spending 8 hours in front of one of the lab computers yesterday to finish our final film project. It would have been fewer if one member of our group had actually got there about 2 hours earlier as she’d said, and actually *had* the work she was supposed to have done actually, well, done! Myself and our oher group member just sat there and gave her stern looks as she finished her minute and a half of editing on her Macbook, ten transferred it onto the lab computer where I pieced together what our other (more diligent) group member had edited and the opening and closing credits I’d created over the 5 hours previous… Here’s the finished work, if you want to take a look!

Anyhoot, my eyes are telling me I’ve been on here long enough for the day, so i will leave it at that. Take care and have fun on set! Live the dream!!!

  8. PS: I have considered giving myself a similar dye job to Five’s, but I think a few people would freak if I did that…. Just wearing the blonde wig for my webseries Preflight Launch made a few people concerned that I’d dyed my hair, and a few even freaked out on me, scolding me for dying it, etc…..

  9. @baterista9 I am very much into politics, but on facebook, i have an “xpolitics” group. It is easy to just hit exclude these people and add that for politics. Maybe the person is clueless on how to do it? If not, restricted is good 🙂

Obviously that dome things is obviously the space version of Schrodinger’s cat box. 🙂

  10. Love the who’s who wall and their categories! #teasers

The costumes are fab – lots of detail on them. It’s great seeing them this close because when you’re watching the characters wearing them on screen, you don’t get to appreciate the intricate work involved in their outfits.

Anthony’s ‘monthly’ reprimand – then he gets put into solitary confinement?

A little something……a small present that packs a punch, right? And I don’t mean the alcoholic cocktail variety!

THIS scary structure – answer as a question…..
The ‘pen’ is mightier than the sword?
You are now entering the dome, there are no rules – Are we clear on the rules?

  11. @Tom Gardiner: Never underestimate the potential of a refrigerator box. Attach a couple of LASER turrets and you’re good to go!

  12. It’s somewhat difficult to be sure, but it looks like Alyssa Pawlak’s shirt is a Metallica shirt. By default, I am now a big fan of her! \m/

  13. The Warden’s jacket is pretty snazzy, it looks like something Elsa Klensch would swoon over at a Missoni show. Misaki Han’s costume is rockin’ too, love the detail on both. Were they made in house?

The jungle gym looks fun and makes me nostalgic for elementary school, climbing up as high as you dared and hearing the tale again of the “the kid” who climbed to high and fell off and broke and arm or leg depending on who was teling the yarn.

  14. The geodesic half-dome forms the upper structure of THIS scary structure. Please answer in the form of a question.

uh…. What is an interior whale?

  15. What is….a super high security detainment pod for massively dangerous/violent/high flight risk prisoner transport to an even higher security prison?

Just a shot in the dark. I like being wrong when I finally watch the episode. 😉

  16. The geodesic half-dome forms the upper structure of THIS scary structure. Please answer in the form of a question.

What is the confinement structure displayed on Joseph Mallozzi’s WP blog October 26th, 2015?

Wait a minute! Weren’t YOU that “kid” Joe?

  18. @Debra: Thanks. Fortunately, apologies have been exchanged and agreements have been made.

  19. The question is: What is the top half of what forms the dome of a torture apparatus that threatens to dunk its inhabitant into a vat of acid.

Just a monthly reprimand? That’s pretty good actually.
