One hundred percent of these all female characters could kick my backside and sell me to Orion Slavers or Ferrous Corp, except for Android who would still beat me up, but probably not sell me to the Orions or Ferrous Corp.
Maybe one day there’ll be a strong female character again whose super power is holding a family together and making biscuits, like June Cleaver.

A few weeks? months? ago, Joe mentioned EARTH ABIDES by George R. Stewart. I read it over 50! years ago.
Tried to read it again and realized that I must have been too young back then to be spooked by the post-apopcalyptic opening.
Now, I’m finding it difficult to read more than a few pages at a time.
Going back to my lighter reading. I still recommend the BACKYARD STARSHIP novels by J.N. Chaney, Terry Maggert, et. al.
