I’m going Spock and Thor to set up an all alien championship!
No, someone is not “gonna know better”. That, for some reason, is the point. More often than not, they hire writers who know nothing about the source material to “broaden the appeal” – thereby effectively neutering what made it so great and successful in the first place.
Completed work on a fourth mission in the upcoming Choose Your Sci-Fi Adventure series I’ll be kicking off once we’ve finished rounding out our crew. If fans are as keen as I’m hoping, I may develop six more and make it an even 10 on the season. They really have the feel of individual episodes of an SF t.v. show. And the great thing is fans will be able to experience them rather than having to wait on the approval of an executive.
On a similar note, I’m considering making all of my pilot scripts available for download to anyone who is interested including the two episodes of TimEscape.
