I’m going Crichton and Starbuck!  Who you got?

Well, back in Montreal for the first time this year, visiting with mom and sis (who celebrated her birthday today with a pool party, grilled meets, pizza, and chocolate-pistachio cake!).  We’re here until August 10th during which time we’re hoping work begins on replacing the flooring in our Toronto condo.  IN an ideal world, we would come back to the work fully completed.  But, as history has taught us, this world is far from perfect so it’s more than likely we may need to find somewhere else to stay while the renovation team kicks up some dust.  Might be kind of fun to play tourist for a few days.

    Yep. I can smell da wood burning in Dat bwain of yours. You be thinking of spending a week or two at the grove in LA. Albeit, the likely high cost of booking a reasonably decent pug friendly hotel in Beverly Hills on short notice may result in a sigh of disappointment.
    Maybe? A jaunt back to Vancouver to enjoy a night of pizza at Coopers house and visit some old friends?? Or a tourist trip to Nova Scotia?? Or Buffalo NY to browse the comic book stores and chow down on chicken wings??

        Noelle, too! Actually she prefers our food much more than her doggie menu! Pizza, mac and cheese, parmigiano, mozzarella, cakes, steak, ham, sausages, roast chicken, salmon and so on. She eats her menu but it is clear she wouldn’t. Parmigiano reggiano is her favorite. Her vet says we should be taugher and say no. But she is 9 years old and she knows what she wants and she’s doing only her way. She’s a mini wire-haired Dachshund, we love her so much and in our family she’s the boss…Nobody can say ” no” to her.
