March 7, 2026: The Saturday Report!

Hard to believe that in less than a month, we will be returning to Toronto’s icy embrace.

Surprisingly windy today!

We had a lunch scheduled with friends today but they had to cancel, we Akemi, Sharky and I made the 2 mile trek to one of our favorite spots in L.A., Republique Bakery.

I ate most of this salted caramel chocolate cake.

Then, we took Sharky for a walk. Although he didn’t really do much walking.

Got some writing to do (I’d love to tell you about, but I’m sworn to secrecy), so I leave you with this sneak peek at The Jetsons reboot!

Well, Toronto shouldn’t be TOO icy a month from now. (Weather says +12 there right now).

Sneak peek?? I thought an animated Jetsons reboot was released a few years ago?? Albeit, I don’t recall seeing it and not up for searching for it at the moment.

Oh gosh! Did you land a gig helping with the development of the planned live action version!!??!!
If so … Youba dooba! Yabba Daba Doo!! and every other fun exclamation I could ever possibly think up to utter!

Have ya made up your mind yet about a longer term move to warmer, sunnier california?? I hear Brentwood is also quite dog friendly and employees are reasonably friendly in the shops. Albeit, there might be other burb areas with better walk scores?
Are you about to drop a bombshell on Sharky super fans regarding a new addition to the family??

and please don’t say Sharky Productions or Sharkys agent made you sign an NDA regarding anything to do with their superstar client! I refuse to believe he is anything but the sweetest most giving kindest boy in the whole wide world!
