My thoughts: While very enjoyable, this one didn’t land as strongly as the first two in this series.

A quiet pawnshop keeper with a violent past takes on a drug-and-organ trafficking ring in hope of saving the child who is his only friend.
My thoughts: An actioner with plenty of heart, and one of my very favorites.

Film #20: The Gangster, the Cop, The Devil (2019)
A crime boss teams up with a cop to track down a serial killer.
My thoughts: This one has all the elements for a great movie but they never quite come together in satisfactory fashion. Still, the ending – however far-fetched – is killer.
