Uh oh.  We went to a local bake shop to pick up some bread for my wife.  They offered to slice it for us but it was only after we had left that we realized they had trimmed off the crusty ends…Akemi’s favorite part!  She has vowed never to go back.  Thoughts?

Over on twitter, I do a daily This Day in Supervillain History segment.  Today, among the villains profiled, was the Clockmaster…

Take a closer look at Clockmaster…

Does he remind you of anyone?

Also, posted this on twitter last night.  I assumed everyone already knew…

But, surprisingly, many fans did not.  Did you?

Akemi should go back to the baker and demand ALL the bread ends that they’ve cut off other loaves. And insist on them for free!

I don’t think I knew about the SG-KISS connection. Or if It did, I’ve forgotten, which is a distinct possibility.

I’m not such a fan of the crusty ends but my partner is. I never get my loaves sliced at the bakery. I like control over the thickness of my slices. Or I just bake my own bread.

I don’t like the heels myself but they are key to keeping the bread fresh and I do feel that is a bad shop and wouldn’t go back either.
